This game is purely fantastic. Shooting is satisfying. Killing is satisfying. Hell even dying defending or attacking a trench is satisfying.

Verdun has a lot of personality and you can tell it is deeply loved by its community.

I've been playing this game off and on since probably around 2014. My timer is probably a good 100 hours above what it says so I finally feel comfortable writing this. This game is amazing... if you like managing gnomes which are basically toddlers. You'll tell them to do something and it wont get done for the longest time until you realize you made a mistake yourself. Yes there is a mild learning curve but after a few kingdoms fall you'll get the hang of it. Gnomoria is full of charm and you can tell that RoboBob put a lot of love into the game. When you finally have a kingdom that actually makes it somewhere and you achieve end game status it is very satisfying. I highly reccomend this game to anyone who loves micromanagement, or maybe for those of you looking for an introduction to dwarf fortress.

Joined a game. Teammate was singing the Quran. 11/10 would play terrorists again.
