While I do enjoy the gameplay, the game suffers from Capcoms inability to do a decent PC port. Limited settings, no ultrawide support, and to top it off.. Their patches actually broke the only third part ultrawide support we had.

Game and gameplay is a decent 7/10
-1 for mediocre port
-1 for no ultrawide
-1 for broken patches

End score: 4/10.

Robots go Vrrr!

It's armored core, rebooted! They got most things right, but not everything. Hopefully they'll iron out the worst things and add a DLC down the line. The game deserves it.

Probably one of my favorite games of all time.
And now an updated version is in the works for the steam platform, finally.

What's not to love? Tons upon tons of enemies and a difficulty fitting of the name. It takes up where the old Doom eternal ended. It's pure and utter brutal insanity. Remember the marauder? Yeah, you'll see a lot of him... with company.

Makes Doom 2016 feel like a walk in the park.

EDIT: Just finished the game, last boss has plenty of save-states and was actually a quite enjoyable fight even if it took a few tries.

Holy moly! They turned it up to 11 on the expansion, having a (punishing) blast on Nightmare.

I'm a somewhat casual gamer these days, but I still find a challenge to be rewarding, and this delivers in spades! Doom 2016 was far too easy on Nightmare. Stock DooM eternal was challenging but not very difficult... The Ancient gods though? Oh my..

Don't get salty because others get it for free, YEARS after release.
Things drop in value over time, it's so cheap now it might as well be free.

If you're so cheap as to not be miffed about something you've gotten value out of, drops in value.
Don't buy them until they drop in value... I for one am fine with this DLC going free, and adding more players to the mix. Making the new expansion more available to others.
