I played in 2 of the betas , I knew what I was getting into.
Take most action Genres' , put them in a blender, add some Wuxia, some Cultivation some historical C-Drama but instead of watching this you get to play it.
The story, I'm not far enough into it to judge yet but it feels like I'm playing an MMO version of Blood of Youth.
It's 3rd person action gaming with a plethora of mini games, Souls-Like Bosses, Stealth sections, ect...
The world feels so so alive.. Stealing / destroying random NPCs things has consequences.
The monetization from everything I can see it skins... Like ugly gambling monetization for skins, it's not required so meh... Dress up will get EXPENSIVE it you REALLY want that one out fit..
I day 1 got the battlepass because I'm going to be playing this anyway AND I want to support the devs in this as I'm blown away by all of this..
There is single player.....There is PVP... There is co-op.... there is doing dungeons...
I think my favorite aspect is if you wanna use the cool weapon, you have to work for it go learn how to do it..

The only other negative is your account get stuck with 1 character currently and there is no way to delete that I know of**
They said they are working on that and letting people create more then 1 toon, so I will adjust the review when / if that happens..

My only negative is how long it is but considering how much voice acting is in just the demo I really impressed..

Reminds me of being a DM in the late 80s when I got my first D&D Red Box set..

Very early but VERY fun..
The shooting is spot on , you actually do stealth if you want too..
The devs respond and get patches/fixes out quickly... What's not to love..
Do yourself a favor if you like shooters and buy this..

It's early access, but I have not had 1 crash...yet...
When creating a world it does use a ton of ram but it's not for very long..
I started as a "mage" , haven't found anyway to get magic regen, yet... Still having fun..
Playing more of a battle mage then anything, there is so so so much to do..
Wanna get some stuff, go clear that prison , YOU CAN CLIMB don't be me a be "stuck" for 10 minutes when you can just climb...
Every time I play I keep finding new things that I really don't expect...
In a dark area ? , drop some glow shrooms , who needs a torch..

So far I'm having a blast , yeah it's not perfect but the dev listens and responds.

In it's current state I cannot recommend this..
It feels like half a game.
It has the creepy, gross out look for a diablo like game down, wonderful art design.
The music is pretty good.
There is loot but no point to carrying anything if you do not equip it as there is no way to sell, buy or craft anything.
You get to level up attributes when you gain XP but new skills are gated by the same thing everything else is RNG.

Just not for me.

Crashed at least 6 times in the first 10 minutes.

So many wonderful things..
The atmosphere is creepy.. The maps are detailed and huge..
I got this a while ago and have only 22 hours in it but I love everything about it.
The devs are active on social media, the steam, the Publisher in New Blood, they only make gold..

Do you like games that are challenging ?
It's HARD but not too hard to me.. I died a lot at first learning everthing...
This game hits EVERY single note for me..
You have to spend "WitchFire" ( think runes from Elden Ring / Souls from Dark Souls ) or risk losing it but ,even if you loose it you can go pick it back up after to die.. ( You do lose other things that are not hard to replace).
Do you like LOTS and LOTS of guns, ranging from hand cannon that when you reload the bullets EXPLODE..
An auto shotty, couple of SMGs a few sniper rifles....... oh yeah no matter what you find you get to level them up and make them better...(it's a predetermined ability level up, so you don't pick anything other then leveling up..)
You have 3 slots that can also affect gameplay / abilities... and yes you get to level those items ups as well..
I think a relic, ring, and a fetish..
You have to do research to unlock anything unless if came with your class..
There is A TON ( yes I WANT MOAR)..
You also get a light spell that recharges quickly and a heavy spell that does not..
You also level up your stats and that does NOT make the game harder...
What makes the game harder is leveling your gnosis level.. I waited until I had most weapons , relics, rings, fetishes , light spell and heavy spells...
Got most of that and leveled up my gnosis to level 2...
SO SO much fun..
The devs seem to REALLY love this game..
The music is just SO good...

Excited to see what else they have in store for this game and enjoying the ride ..

If a BoomerShooter+ImSim had a baby...
This is the baby..
There is a stamina system BUT it's mostly for melee/jumping..
You can run around the map full blast without stam going down..
The secrets are ...well hidden but not obtuse ..
Multiple ways to complete objectives..
New Blood gets my monies on release day and
THEY DO NOT DISAPPOINT

Go buy this..

The enemy AI is my favorite part.. Some wait for you , others talk trash and HUNT you..
It's sooo sooo good..

So just finished the game.. I did not look for all secrets , hell I somewhere missed a gun ????
I still hit 55ish hours..
I will be playing this again to secret hunt and just mess around in game..
I did not expect this massive amount of just things to do..
AND they are going to add more..
This is a wonderful blend of so many other games that is done so so good..
The thing that blows my mind is this is on GZDoom..
My hope is that this master piece inspires others..
