If you're looking for an in-depth high quality storytelling masterpiece, this game is not for you. The best way to describe this game is an Open World Action RPG Sandbox Exploration game. Take the best parts of elden ring and red dead's exploration, and that is how it feels to explore the world of Crimson Desert. I've been exploring and doing side quests in the starting area for 35 hours and it still hasn't felt stale. The biggest upside of this game is the fact that it's not an MMORPG, it makes me want to do all the unimportant side quests and I have no rush to speedrun the main story to get to the endgame dungeons. It's lowk nice to just take everything slowly and take your time with everything.
TLDR: Treat this game as Black Desert Offline, it plays and storytells like an offline mmorpg game

Somehow they made multiplayer co-op in a turn based game fun and also not (that) slow.

If you're looking for the definitive deck building roguelike, the original slay the spire is the breadwinner because of all the mods and the game actually being a full release. But if you wanna have a fun time with friends and goof around in a deck building game, get slay the spire 2.

Unironically, no cap, frfr, this game is GOTY... as someone who loves turn based games this game mixes real time combat with turn based which creates a super interactive experience. Unlike other turn based games where you have to actually get hit by enemy attacks like a cuck, you can parry or dodge the attacks by timing it fairly precisely.

Highly recommend this game, if you're on the edge of buying it PLEASE give it a try!

mid tbh, glad they added AN94 to the game but why is her name Alva and not Annie.......
