It's flawed, but I absolutely loved the ride. I didn't particularly care for the combat but the skill tree and item combinations made it enjoyable to build my character. The writing had its issues but the game still felt like I was crafting a cinematic masterpiece. I wasn't a fan of having a party forced on me at all times but the party banter was absolutely worth it. It was very entertaining to see little hints as to why events happened or why people acted a certain way based off of the decisions that I had made. I can see why someone would feel like the story was the weakest of the series (or at least watered down), but it evoked emotion from me at every turn. It took me over 100hrs to get through my first playthrough and I look forward to spending several hundred more on subsequent playthroughs.

I wish I could tell you about the gameplay, the story, or the features... but I can't. I can't even play this game. I purchased this game through Steam in order to play it from Steam. However, Ubisoft forces you to (after launching it on Steam) log into THEIR platform before you can play. I've been fighting with a newly-created Ubisoft account for almost 24hrs now and I have yet to be able to play this game...
