Arcana turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. The art style is beautiful, the music is solid, and I like how the game doesn’t spoon-feed you—you just explore and learn things naturally. The difficulty feels fair, and the level design is quite polished with plenty of small discoveries along the way. Enemy variety and boss fights are genuinely fun, though the controls could’ve been a bit smoother. Worth the money. If you enjoy challenging, exploration-heavy titles, this one is definitely worth trying. I honestly enjoyed my time with it.

A great game buried under uneven matchmaking, broken characters, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ P2P connection and micro-transactions.
Don't touch this with a 10 ft pole, maybe Ubi can fix it the way of Siege until then forget it.

Get it on a sale probably for $30-$35.

Really good game bogged down by publisher's scummy practices. The story is nowhere near the ambitious experiences Deux Ex is known for, it basically feels like the first chapter of a bigger game. According to a Jim Sterling video, Squeenix always wanted to make Jensen's trilogy and that lead to this one being cut up into another game. Eidos had started work on sequel to MD even before the official announcement so you can assume why this feels too much like a sequel bait.

Also the microtransactions were added just a month before release and that actually breaks the game because the gameplay is very well balanced in itself.

Overall-

Pros: - Refined gameplay from HR
- Excelent level design, the verticality makes the levels even bigger
- Few but interesting side missions and Point of interest which do a good job of world building.
- Graphically looks really good in places but the animations are low quality.
- Okay voice acting, some VA's have changed so you may find that a bit jarring.
- Breach mode is a good addition, however it's microtransaction heaaven.

Cons: - Squeenix being Squeenix.
- Too much sequel baiting which makes the ending unsatisfactory.
- Not that good of a port. Game is pretty demanding at ultra settings(I don't consider that as a bad thing)
- Only a single hub which makes the game seem even smaller
- Only Shows racism and other themes from the sidelines but seems like it's afraid to tackle it head on, probably not to offend anyone

Overall, it's half of what it should have been and definitely not a good successor to even HR at least storywise.

Probably the best FPS single player campaign in a long time. Doom brings back the mindless "fun" aspect back into fps which has been missing from many modern military shooters. You shoot demons not because there is an important side character who needs to be saves or complete some overly long objective. You shoot demons because it's fun.

There is no bulls*** involving long cutscenes which give boring exposition explaining to you how you are the chosen one or some other s***, no hand holding, punishing gameplay at harder difficulties and simply the best gunplay out there.

You are the doomguy and you are here to kill some demons in the most brutal and awesome way possible.

- Now the multiplayer doesn't do anything unique to make you play for more than a few hours and snap-map is ultimately limited (probably bcos it is designed with consoles in mind).

- Is it worth the full 60$, I would say yes. Still if you are unsure hold on for a price drop.

First of all it runs pretty good even on my stone age CPU and Gtx 660 ti and simply beautiful to look at. Many times I found myself staring at the gorgeous scenery (and lara's hair!).
Now I would highly recommend it if you loved the last one. And if you didn't think highly of it, this may still not work for you. The combat is pretty easy even on highest difficulty, although there are more options when it comes to skills, weapons and combat tactics (You can, at least in some instances, do completely stealthy run). It is vaguely 'openish' world and exploration is required to upgrade your skills, weapons etc. They have expanded on the Tombs but still the puzzles are pretty easy. I would have personally liked some original PoP level stuff. Story is forgettable but the voice acting is pretty good.
So overall if you are in the mood for a semi-open, vaguely 'puzzely', but good action platformer then this is the one for you especially at his price point. (I got it for less than 15$ here in india.

It's a good old school shooter which is prettty hard on higher difficulty. The game levels are pretty linear and there is nothing much alse you do other than shoot down different kind of robots. The atmosphere is great and the physics is even better than some modern shooters. So I would recommend this if you are fan of old school shooters and don't expect too much from it, in-fact its pretty enjoyable.
