Game is awesome, feels complete, challenging, satisfying. Can't recommend enough, especially for the price

As of the review, the gender ideology content in the game is minimal and doesn't have any real impact in gameplay, aside from being able to be 'lovers' with every character you encounter once relationships are high enough, due to an incomplete system.

So long as that remains the case, the game is content wise stellar. Currently many systems need to be polished. A number of bugs exist to iron out, and the stability of the game is dependent on how fast your system is. But for the content in the game once you're used to controls, it is awesome, and you'll be wishing it wasn't as buggy so you could enjoy it more. At least that is how it is for me.

They broke the game. This anticheat breaks it working on my linux system and the detection for mods just killed the game for me. Garbage to do to such an old great game. Im gonna sale the seas for an older version now.

The game feels terrible to play without engaging in the "trade economy". I'm a diablo 2 arpg enjoyer. I was told that this game is one of the best ARPGs ever and tried it out. I made it to cruel mode last season before this season started, and I ended up hitting a grind hell brick wall. I dumped all gold into gamba rolls for gear, all my rare upgrade drops on gear, and tried every option to make my WARRIOR not feel like a leaf in the wind.

I was still rolling level 20 gear in 3 of the major gear slots by level 55.

I got to a brick wall in difficulty, where I am dying with 30% res in most elements, 50% armor, and don't havee any path forward that is not grind for 20 hours for gear that might not ever drop. I get more useful gear for other classes I'm not playing than my own. It feels absolutely terrible. It is not at all balanced towards playing without the global trade as you would expect any normal ARPG to be.

The community says "You do SSF cause you want bragging rights and have too much time. This is an economy trading game, not a 'get through the game with your own drops' game" which i think is terrible design.

Its a pretty good time.

Removed support they had for people playing this through proton online, and punishes them for doing so with bans now. There is an option when they ship it ( a checkbox ) to allow the support, but they chose not to.

Game is abandoned, disabled the servers, and has no offline single player support.

Tried to do regular war against other faction, and the AI nuked itself destroying multiple of my armies at once. 10/10

More seriously, the game is stellar, deep and tough. Its a game about pacing, prioritization, and decisions. You can lose the game by making the wrong choices. You have to learn what to prioritize based on failure.

Some have said you have be optimal, but that isn't quite right. There is a good amount of leeway when you figure out what is actually important. Once you do, you can figure out when you need certain things and you can allow yourself more or less leeway on those markers to give yourself an edge.

This isn't a paradox interactive title where the AI is not competitive. The AI is quite competent and makes some decisions we wish they would not make. Alas, that is what brings life to the game and makes it so hard. You're fighting an overpowering force and dedicated enemies.
