Unbalanced and unforgiving. You can pick up the entirety of Civ 5 for about £15 on some sites, and it is an infinitely better game than Civ 6 is in its current state. This game will set you back over £80 to get all the currently released content. Its just not worth it.

The mechanics are infuriating and sluggish, single player AI is just dumb (to put it lightly), and gameplay bugs can make 10+ turns of preparation be worth nothing and set you back countless turns in a multiplayer game.

TLDR: Civ 5 is better and a fraction of the price.

Seriously don't buy this game in its current state, early game is laggy meaning you're going to be getting headshot around corners etc etc. If you like rage-inducing games that get you in the mood for beating your mrs. then by all means, spend £27 on a game that feels like it is barely out of early access.

Pretty good.
