Fantastic and hilarious.

This is my favourite game.

First and foremost, it has the most compelling story of any game I've ever played with the most developed and interesting characters. The main problem with the story and with the quests are that they are fantastic but they are hidden behind a guise of boring hooks.

From the main quest to the many, many side quests and monster hunts, it starts as the quest giver saying; "go over there, kill this for me and I will give you 200 coins" but in the quests you learn so much about the world.

Geralt is a little awkward to control and much of the combat is dodge, strike, dodge, strike, dodge, strike. The game, however, vastly makes up for this.

The game is such a simple premise in a fantasy world; a monster hunter for hire, but the world that this game is set in, with the people who inhabit it is what makes this game what it is.

This game is a masterpiece and I highly recommend that if you have never played it, it should be the next and only game on your radar.
