I prepurchased this game almost 9 years ago. Overgrowth... my game... Why did you do me like this?

Lugaru was an amazing little game, and I was lucky enough to pick it up in a steam sale circa 2008-9. Overgrowth... why? The story is terrible, the maps are boring with nothing to do other than go down the one obvious path, Maybe you can do a different kind of wallrun to get to the same place, but that's really all this game has to offer as far as choices. That's fine, though, as long as it stands up on other merits. The combat system is cool, but since I played Lugaru I knew how to cheese it. Jump kick. All you have to do is jump kick and you can win the entire game. I really wanted to love this game, and I honestly expected better after such a long time in development. Sad!
