I got it for free when in 2020, would otherwise never have bought it. But I'm very glad I got it.

Surprisingly fun and deep. The gameplay is repetitive but it always make me wanna do more. Exploring is rewarded by good and varied loot, there are many story elements scattered throughout the world, environments are rich and detailed, and there are quite a few different enemy types. This further requires you to think about your build, such as resistances.
I also really love the graphic.

My experience of this game is limited by the fact that I don't have any friends to play it with :(
So it's a 7/10 as I enjoy slashing ratlings with strangers too

Like:
- Lore
- World
- Quests and adventures
- Stories everywhere

Dislike
- Controls are sometimes a bit clunky, especially when wanting to loot caches or ignite candles, etc. It's a bit annoying
- Targeting of enemies. I'm used to DS games on PlayStation where targeting works perfectly and intuitively. I feel its a bit more lacking here. It might be just me but I still havent gotten fully used to it after more than 20 hours.

EDITED: Initially, I didnt think much of it. I liked Cookie Clicker and compared that to this. I liked the evolving visual style of cookie clicker where it quickly becomes apparent that you are getting more clicks per second (cps).

However, after spending many hours on this and deep diving more into the strategic elements, I find myself growing increasingly interested and captivated by the game. Its much more than what it initially appears to be.

9/10

My first and so far only Bioshock experience. But definitely not my last. Wow.
