My settings aren’t random. They’re calibrated to how my hand actually works — forearm length, grip, stopping mechanics, and playstyle.

For years I played at 1.92 (@ 400 DPI), but when I discovered that 1.9181 was perfect for me, I started winning tournaments. Copying settings without understanding the mechanics never made sense to me.

Counter-Strike has a limitation — sensitivity is displayed only to two decimal places. At 400 DPI, 1.91 = 764 eDPI, while 1.92 = 768. That difference is already noticeable. If you want true precision, you need finer control — via autoexec.cfg.

The average eDPI of top CS2 players is around ~860, with a median of ~840. The viable range is roughly ~700–1200.

eDPI = DPI × sensitivity. It defines overall responsiveness.

SRAV (Smoothness-Related Accuracy Variance) describes how precisely the sensor tracks fast movement. It depends on DPI. Some sensors perform best at 400 DPI, others at 800 or 1600.

Example: the DeathAdder V3 at 1000 eDPI has its lowest SRAV at 1600 DPI → 0.625 sensitivity.

In CS, even 0.1–0.2% differences matter. Long, Mid, Banana — fights are often decided by stopping accuracy.

There are two aiming models:

Memory-based (hipfire): muscle memory leads, vision confirms. Consistent across zoom → zoom_sensitivity_ratio 1.00. That’s how I aim.

Vision-based (ADS): the eye leads, the hand follows. Zoom changes perceived speed → sensitivity needs adjustment (0.93, 0.97, 0.82, etc.).

Mixing both leads to inconsistency.

There is no universal “best” sensitivity — only the one that matches how you aim.

Legacy mode enabled.

sn4ke — yes, that one (ClanBase Nations Cup).

Older now. Slower. Half-deaf, half-blind. Reaction time down a couple of years ond only 150 FPS (=7ms input LAG) because i like 21:9 4k. Now I play just for fun. Retired grandpa aimer. One highlight per match. Two on a good day.
