Though the story line and characters are not as engaging as in previous Fallout games the gun play and customisation is fun. Some of the quests feel a bit generic and just padding to get your character to level up.
All in all, played to completion and the Far Harbour DLC adds some interesting quest that were lacking a little in the main game.

After playing 100s of hours with the Original "Vanilla" Skyrim.
The special edition and the bundled DLCs made me explore the game again.
More hours of Dragon slaying, Dragon smithing and enchanting - repeat until I have the ultimate gear !

This along with System Shock 2 are the grand daddies of the FPS/RPG genre. In depth customisable weapons, skill upgrades and amazing depth in story line. Although the graphics are a little dated now the diverse ways in which you can approach each mission makes for great replay value and how you develop your skills may force you down either a more stealthy, rambo or strategic approach. Whether you are hacking turrets to your advantage or sneaking past cameras or simply picking people off with the sniper the choice is yours. Truly an all time classic and its prequel (human evolution) is a fine homage to the one that started it all.
