An intriguing insight into the lives of several professional CS:GO players. Even if you only watch tournaments every once in a while, this is a really enlightening experience to get to see the lives of the people behind the monitors.

If you're looking to play multiplayer, don't bother anymore. There's only a couple hundred people tops playing at any given time, and a majority of the servers aren't even your standard CoD gametypes, most are gimmicky servers like "crouch only" or "snipers only". These servers were fun as breaks when you were getting tired of the standard game modes when the popularity of this game was at it's peak, but not it's not worth your money.

If you're addicted to CS:GO and have mental breakdowns whenever servers go offline, this is the perfect secondary to have in your back pocket.

A rite of passage for any new PC gamer and their freshly built computer, Crysis still lives up to it's reputation even 9 years after launch. While it's no longer the best looking game out there, and it's later sequel Crysis 3 has taken over the mantle as the ultimate benchmark, it still looks stunning today.

Don't get the wrong idea though, Crysis is absolutely not just a tech demo; this is legitimately one of the greatest games ever made. The story is captivating sci-fi blockbuster material and the open world format in a linear game gives you a freedom you won't find in other FPS's. Crysis is still absolutely a game that you need to play today.

A beautiful short little walking simulator that has incredible dialogue and and captivating story. I had very fun with this as a "chill-out" game, where you can just sit back and enjoy the scenery. The story, without spoiling, is a good one to play after a break-up, or with a break-up on the mind. The opening sequence is heartbreaking and while the ending of the game may not live up to expecatations for some, it fits in very well thematically with the narrative. Even though I only spent 4 hours with this, it's the epitome of quality>quantity.

A very fun racer with a cool story mode and progression system. There's really not much to say here other than it's a blast to play, the cars handle very well, and it looks very good for it's age even if textures lag behind the times a little bit.

Early Access Review
A very cool concept but unfortunately there's just not much to do and you simply get bored after a couple of hours. It's a fun game to kill time with friends as you pool ideas and and make funny names for videos, but it's really just not fun to play by yourself. I understand this is Early Access, and I'll replay it once the full version launches, but at the moment it's jsut not worth it.

If you're like me and loved BioShock 1 and Infinite but ignored BioShock 2 because you "heard it sucked", wipe all of those thoughts out of your head. BioShock 2 isn't bad, it's not just okay, hell it's not even good, this game is FANTASTIC. The storytelling is by far better than the first game and has the best gameplay of the three games.

Similar to how BioShock 1 and Infinite are deconstructions of Objectivism and Religous Fanaticism, respectively, 2 has a strong narrative that focuses on and is a deconstruction of Altruism, which is essentially the polar opposite of the Ayn Rand-inspired ideologies of the first game. The villain of BioShock 2 isn't nearly as compelling or interesting as Andrew Ryan (not like you could ever top him), but the game doesn't suffer as a result of it.

All in all, BioShock 2 is a MUST buy for fans of the series. It IS worthy of the BioShock name, and I'm kicking myself for not playing this game sooner. The first half is a bit of a slog, but after you finish both the game and the absolutely fantastic DLC "Minerva's Den" it will give 1 and Infinite a run for their money in regards to being the best BioShock game.

A fun little arcadey shooter that's essentially Alan Wake 1.5. Not really a true sequel, the main cliffhanger from the end of the first game is acknowledged but not resolved, but it gives Remedy to refine their truly unique gameplay idea that was a little lacking in the original. Gameplay is definitely improved, but is now definitely a full fledged third person shooter instead of the horror/TPS hybrid of the previous game.

If you liked the story of the first, I wouldn't get my hopes up. This is truly an arcade expansion, there's very little story but more things you have to do to give you some fun gameplay moments. There are only three small maps that are reused three times, but given the pricing of this game it's somewhat excusable.

The game also adds a fun horde/zombies type mode. I really enjoyed the gameplay during the story so I went to try the survival mode, but it's not as engaging as I anticipated it to be, which makes me believe the fun gameplay is reliant more on the level design than the actual combat.

All in all, if you liked the first game I'd pick this up. It's not a full sequel, but it's a fun little 4-5 experience with fun combat and a servicable story.

If Steam had an "indifferent" classification, I would go with it here, but there isn't and I liked this game more than I didn't so I'll go with a recommendation.

For me, this game was merely alright. It gets bonus points for being a truly cinematic game (not just a game with a lot of cutscenes and then calls itself cinematic to absolve any blame) and the gameplay is really unique. However, it becomes very repetitive quickly and there's not much to change up the formula until the DLC's. The story is...it's mostly well-written. It uses a lot of cliches, Alan has the temper of a four year old which is used multiple times as an excuse to move the plot forward, and has a generic light .vs. dark plot, but the actual dialogue and lines are really, really good.

It felt like this game was taking one step forward, one step back the whole entire time. It gets a lot of points for it's pure creativity and Remedy's willingness to make a somewhat risky venture, as well as it's very good graphics for a 2010 game. However the lip synching is absolutely inexcusably bad, which is more noticable than the excellent graphics. It's especially intriguing about how this game used to be open-world early in development, and the final two episodes are very open ended in nature, but the linear nature of the first four levels feel like they didn't change anything and just dropped barriers down to keep you from going off course.

Did I enjoy Alan Wake? I guess so. I really wanted to love this game going into it and even though it was disappointing and IMO isn't worthy of all the praise it gets, it's not a bad game.
