Killing Floor 2 เป็นเกมแนว Survival-Horror ที่ต้องใช้ความเป็นทีม และความสามัคคีในการฝ่า wave แต่ละ wave ไปให้ได้ ถ้าผู้เล่นไม่มีแผนหรือเพื่อนร่วมทีมดีๆ ก็แทบจะเล่นให้ชนะได้ยากมากๆ เพราะ บอสหรือมินิบอสแต่ละตัวแมร่งโหดสัสๆเดินดุ่มไปเจอคือตายลูกเดียว มันจึงแตกต่างจากเกมแนวนี้เกมอื่นๆไปมากเลยทีเดียว แต่เกมมันยังเป็นbetaอยู่ทำให้แมพและอาวุธค่อนข้างน้อย จึงต้องรออัพเดทกันต่อไป
