Played the game for 63 minutes and now I can't even open the game. Crashes 100% of the time.

My personal notes on this game: First things first--the camera control (or lack thereof) is absolutely monstrous in some areas and needs some serious polishing. For achievement hunters, this one is going to make you a little nuts. The purple flower level in particular actually feels impossible in terms of total completion. The mechanic involving the constant movement (seriously, being physically unable to stop your "character" on your own terms is infuriating) added to the fact that you don't actually have any control whatsoever over the camera, therefore you are at the game's mercy in regards to being able to see your surroundings or even the flower petals in many cases, is a recipe for a hole in the wall.

That being said, it is a delightful experience and can be very relaxing to play. There's not much to the story (there's a message in there somewhere, but I'll leave that up to the individual's interpretation); the visuals are nice and the music is worthy of listening to even outside the game. Flower in a word: Whimsical. The entire game feels like a dream.

I would have loved to give this game a positive review, as I was INCREDIBLY eager to play it. I made it through the tutorial, but when I went to play the actual game, it crashed. Three times. I uninstalled it and now I'm cranky.

Life is Strange meets The Sims.
Up meets The Butterfly Effect.

A beautiful, twisted, divine romance. 10/10 would cry again. And again.

This game is exactly what it sounds like... and it is ADORABLE!! The sights, the sounds, the music, the story... I'm not even ashamed to admit I've put over 65 hours into it. The achievements are reasonably attainable (super bonus for me... I'm an achievement junkie) and the gameplay itself is simple (anything you aren't sure about is right there in your in-game guide). However, the aesthetics are what really make it special for me. It's just so darn delightful between your precious slimes with their individual personalities and all the little fun extra missions all over the map that can keep you busy for HOURS. I promise you, it is VERY easy to find yourself lost in the bewilderment that is the Far, Far Range!

Let me begin by saying I have never felt such a strong urge to leave a review for a game as I have for this one. If I had to sum up the experience I had playing this into one word: Astonishing. The visuals, the music, the narration, and of course the story. Who would have thought I'd ever have such an emotional attachment to a little candle? I suppose I should start with how incredibly relatable the story actually is. Everyone wonders about their purpose in life--I was very literally in tears by the time I beat the game. The gameplay is quite straightfoward, yet it remains challenging enough to stay entertaining the entire time. If you're an avid completionist like myself, striving to light each candle in all chapters is a delight in and of itself. Everything about it is so beautifully captivating as well, even the "spooky" parts. All that is to say, I highly recommend this game. If you're looking for something new or need a break from that game you've been putting thirty hours a week into, I urge you to play this one.
