I met Algolineu’s mom at a weird math lecture. She was smart, intense, and kept correcting the professor mid-sentence. I had no idea what was going on, but I liked her confidence, so I asked her out for coffee. She talked about how numbers could lie and equations were just opinions in disguise. I nodded a lot and tried not to look confused. We argued for hours about concepts I barely understood, and somehow, she thought I was deep. Things escalated. And then… there was Algolineu.

He wasn’t so much born as he was accidentally generated. Like a typo in the universe we forgot to delete. As a kid, he tried to eat chalk, called the moon “the night egg,” and claimed gravity was a government hoax.

One time, he microwaved a textbook because he thought it would “download the knowledge faster.” We kept waiting for signs of brilliance — or at least clarity — but he just doubled down. He once stapled slices of bread to the ceiling and called it “installation art.”

We love him. We really do. But we don’t leave him alone with scissors, pillows, or unsupervised thoughts. And that’s how I met his mom — and how we somehow ended up creating the most lovable disaster to ever misunderstand how doors work. His name is Algolineu.
