It's been a long while since I've played a proper stealth game again.

Replaying the whole Intravenous campaign on TRUE difficulty has been a proper blast. The weapon attachments mechanic is such a huge upgrade to how it effects my personal handling on my guns that it just made all the guns viable for me personally. And the difficulty itself isn't the horrible mess it was in the 1st game. They've made maps in the 2nd game way more CQC oriented in the late game in comparison to the 1st title where nearing the end of the game you just had to clear enemies in this big bright open warehouse with barely any spots to take cover from. The additional AI behaviours made me deal with setbacks I didn't expect to encounter from time to time. Such as body's dropping creates noises that alerts nearby guards and how missing patrols alerts AI. It's fun issue to deal with making me on edge all the time and urging me move faster.

Though even when I do get caught and transitioning into this Stealthy John Wick style of gameplay is still be this games main charm for me. Hearing the game go full blast on my ears while I focus on turning off the lights by turning them off or shooting them out or moving room to room taking constant different angles to shoot at people or even just blocking their movement with your utility all so you can get that constant SLIGHT advantage that's enough to take down the entire compound down is just downright satisfying. Sometimes I genuinely start getting careless or loud at the end of some levels so I can just listen to what new ost they have in store and see how I can have a shoot out in these different levels.

The characters in the story had some great dialogues as well but nothing too serious. There were moments though that just made me very reluctant to pull the trigger or get infuriated enough for me to leave the room with one Grenade lighter. Reading the banter Sean and Steve had and the closure they reached by the end the game really made me feel just as euphoric as they were themselves where I too felt that I can finally rest easy now leaving me with good closure from the game.

Even though it was short it was quite memorable. Reminds me of sekiro quite abit but more satisfying with the charge and infection mechanic. Final OST is also just rent free in my head.

When I played this game on hard mode. I went in with the expectation of a bootleg semi worse X-COM gameplay and a shallow story lore dump in GFL. I went out with feeling absolutely beaten to a pulp feeling despairingly emotional while being BEATEN and humbled by this game. The game portrays the idea of timeloop in a unique way that I really like while giving time to really get comfortable with the main cast and feel abit emotionally attached while being charmed by them. They also give a deeper insight on how relics work. All while also expanding how terrifying ELIDs can be. All this while the game really squeezed everything out of me from every utility from you and make you feel really desperate where I even experienced playing through 1 mission for 6 hours being monstrously overwhelmed by troops all the damn time that sometimes I kinda dont even realize that the mob of enemies spawned on me was already wiped out until I get a prompt.

I'm really sad that this game got review bombed because of some GFL 2 drama though this game deserves way more credit then this. All the in game cutscenes and mechanics was really well thought out and made and it's a major shame to see all this be undervalued. I really appreciated my experience playing this game and I'd recommend this to anyone who's into STGs or interested more about getting more in depth in GFL lore in general or if you just like Jefuty. I encourage it the effort is all worth it.

You gotta feel bad for Arrowhead studios having their game made in 7 years be shot down by Sony with their new PSN change in a matter of 2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ days. (edit: They finally changed it.) Nvm they just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ walked back on their own words.

After playing through Veteran and Legend difficulty I can say with certain that this is one of my favorite games by far. The story being concise and interesting with good character development and an interesting dystopian world to explore. And the chainarm gameplay that feels like Titanfall 2 Grappler but in 2D with the extremely fast mobility and fluidity when it comes to picking off groups of enemies in a matter of seconds. This could come off as a generic review but I personally just had alot of fun and had me addicted to the series,

This was a fun short game I've played and can't wait to see more of its development. The thing that shocked about me the most here was the visuals I enjoyed every bit of it while playing to the beat.
