The performance for this game is laughably bad on PC. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. wait for a patch, for a triple AAA game this is EMBARRASSING.

First off, Play the game with a gamepad controller like a Xbox or PS4 controller. It’s a Fighting Game and recommends a controller which is absolutely needed for this game. Reading other reviews, I’ve seen 3 major things come up 1.) Game's locked to 60 fps, it’s disappointing the games locked at 60 fps but overall its better than locked 30 fps. 2.) game's locked at 1080p, no its not under the graphic's settings it goes all the way up to your monitor’s resolution my case the game is set at 1440p. 3.) it’s a recycled storytelling of DBZ, No its not. There are multiple sub quests and characters that you meet that ad more depth and story that you didn't get within the anime itself. New information and dialogue really add to the motivations behind some of the actions taken in the show that weren't expressed in the show but shown in the game. The Open World part of the game isn't open world but places you within a large area that has multiple objectives for you to do. The game's world does not feel dead and there is content everywhere such as, Mineral deposits which can be used to create vehicles to ride around in or make different trainings rooms for extra challenges to gain xp, Fishing, shooting down Red Ribbon Army bases and Frieza Force Space Ships to get extra materials, and NPCs who will shout out if they spot a mineral nearby that will be helpful to you that you can go and collect. Not only that but there are random enemies encounters that provide you with large number of orbs that are used to purchase new skills for your characters. When traveling to different objectives on the map it gives you a Superman 64 type mini game to collect orbs to help power up your characters. The Community board of matching up different OG characters is extremely interesting and really tests your knowledge of DBZ to make the best pairings of characters. The Skill trees of the different playable characters are large and interesting as they provide a sense of real progression as you are going through the game watching the damage numbers go up as you go from fight to fight really gives you a sense that Goku and friends are getting stronger. The fishing is kind of mundane but provides excellent benefits to your character such as permanent stat boosts and temp stat boosts that you can you use for tough fights. The game itself is extremely lengthy as well. I have 13 hours into the game, and I’ve reached the very beginning of the Android Saga. So, I imagine to fully complete the game is around 30-50 hours depending on how slow you play through the game. There have been a few glitches here and there from characters sliding off screen during dialogue and some graphical glitches such as floating characters or hovering characters. In my 13 hours I’ve only experienced 1 fatal crash of the game and no major game breaking bugs. Now If you have played Xenoverse 1 or 2 This game will feel very familiar. It got the same combat system as Xenoverse but it is missing the stamina bar. Enemies in the game are your standard fighting game enemies where you fight and beat them, but in my opinion the true fun in the combat is when you face off against the special enemies. These enemies have special attacks and mechanics during the fights that you need to cautious of and dodge in the same sense as the souls-Bourne series each bosses have patterns and tricks you can use and learn to make the fights easier and each bosses attacks are unique and all so far have been used in the anime before. Overall for me this game is a 9.5 out of ten and if they improved some of the graphical glitches and bugs in the game it would surely be a 10/10. The game hits all the nostalgic parts of the anime while adding new flavor to keep you interested in the long run.
