Game is fun but really needs an overhaul in terms of progression. Once you finish the battle pass, there is legitimately no sense of progression whatsoever and all the xp you earn from completing challenges is quite literally worthless. If the raw gameplay wasn't so fun I couldn't justifiably recommend it, but 343 nailed the hard parts so I have faith that they'll fix the progression issues. In a year, this will be one of the best multiplayer games available, but right now it's a fun but barebones game.

Pretty fun experience in public lobbies, though matchmaking can be a little rough. Sometimes I get paired against a team that has a combined in-game time quantifiable in years, and other times I feel like I'm getting matched against the local daycare's esports team. However, Halo has always been a game best experienced in private matches with friends, and the MCC is definitely no exception. The sheer number of game options you can tweak keeps it from becoming stale. If you're in the mood for a simple TDM, you can hop in a match with the click of a few buttons. Alternate gamemodes like grifball are also a great experience. If I had to pick only one game that I could play with the boys on a Saturday night, it would definitely be this.

Super fun zombies experience. Really unique variety of maps compared to WaW and BO1. Even on the worse maps there are still good times to be had, and maps like MotD and Buried are some of the most fun zombies maps to date. Its biggest problem is the fact that the BASE GAME with only one real zombies map costs $60 ($100 if you want all the maps). Charging that much for an 8 year old game is ridiculous. Overall great experience though and second only to BO3 zombies.
