You know how in Fallout 4 you could use console commands to bypass most of the bugs? Getting trapped on geometry, fixing a broken quest, whatever. 76 has all those same bugs but no consistent way to bypass them. The ingame support options narrow down to two buttons: 1.) My microtransaction-related experience is broken or 2.) Oops I deleted my character. I consider myself lucky to never have spent more than the on-sale entry fee for this game, as my time with it has been wholly unstable; likely the last Bethesda Game Studios product I'll purchase.

My character won't SHUT UP! It plays like every other Korean MMO, and hearing a shoutout with every spellcast is simply not worth it. I refuse to play more of this game for this one simple issue.

I don't know what to think of this game, if you can call it that, so lets do the typical thing and break it down into pros and cons.

+Good looking game, considering 4 years of age
+B+ gunplay, but definitely made for consoles
+Noticable, meaningful character progression
+..."Interesting" story

-Lip syncing is quite poor at times
-Controls, like gunplay, were made for consoles
-Characters fit archetypes a little too strongly

And now, for the BIGGEST con....
-Choice is an illusion.

There are a few small choices that change the half-second snippets you see in the end cutscene, but the real perpetrator is a doozy.... The focal point of the game is just that: a point. While it gives the potential for an immense decision, and a companion mentions that it IS a choice, the protag simply states that it is not, and he was right; it was coded not to be. Not following the path laid out for you faces you with an infinite onslaught of soldiers, snipers, and sub-par cover. Worst of all is that the game expects you to feel responsible for this decision and all repercussions of it, but it WASN'T a decision, it was just the given script.

While this one, MAJOR issue does detract heavily from enjoyment(?) of the game(???), the story that IS presented to players is one I was quite content with seeing the conclusion of, (if not a bit obvious of an ending). I recommend this game as an... "experience", which has probably been said before, but STRONGLY urge people to not expect one that respects your choices: You're only here for the ride.

RTS with 2d Gummi Ships is a tough little game centered around gaining control of points on the (currently quite barren) map, with the points having varying number and layout. The player designs the ships, which play the part of your units, with parts that you start out with or unlock in the single-player "Campaign" mode, with minimal constraints. Energy drain and storage, health, speed, and turn rate are all factors to take into account when building ships, as well as the weapons you give them. The only true constaints are size and a maximum value of $1000 per unit, with money being the only resource in the game proper. Game types available are the previously mentioned Campaign, which pits you against one of various AI players, as well as single player Challenges and various Multiplayer match options.
Now that the ...brief synopsis is out of the way I can say that a.) I suck at RTS's, MOBA's being an exception, and b.) This game is rad as hell. Sure, it could use a little balancing... I think... but I spent 9 hours straight throwing myself at increasingly difficult Campaign missions and will definitely be tackling them again.

Gears of War w/ Robots has decent mechanics and pretty graphics... for a last gen console game. This port feels unintuitive to my PC gamer side, and slightly clunky to my 360-player side. Besides the iffy controls and binding options, there's a companion command system that uses your microphone; speak to command. A good idea in theory, but the constant clacking of my keyboard is enough to keep the AI constantly complaining about my mumbling or spontaneously run to their deaths. This is exacerbated by a lack of press-to-talk and a dependence on this system to keep morale high. All of this is AFTER tweaking and optimizing my mic settings.
Unrelated is SEGA's use of LAST decade's Big-Book-of-Tropes, with a cocky protag, "exotic" love interest, and ..."slight" racial and societal stereotyping. Do I recommend the PC port of Binary Domain? ...No. Go for the console versions if you feel like nothing else quite tickles your fancy like Gears of War did.

Elite Dangerous for people with poor depth perception... and light wallets. In game tutorial is short and effective, left me feeling ready to explore the stars. Things that aren't explained in the tutorial are mostly self explanatory. Sounds are... loud at times, and not the highest quality, but a good game to spend an hour or two transporting passengers and fighting space pirates.

Diablo 2.5 is worthy of that title in quality and gameplay, but there are quite a few differences. Skill trees are forgone in favor of an intricate passive tree and a buttload of shiny rocks and socketing. These rocks are more than jewelry, though, as they ARE your active abilites, and level up with use. The economy is a sort of barter style, with "currency" being usable orbs and scrolls, applied to equipment to alter it's characteristics. This game is a must if you miss having stacks upon stacks of town portal scrolls, (no tomes in this game), and if you happen to have a shiny rock collection.

Space Terraria's pretty good. With updates that come out... occasionally, new stuff and features find their way into the game, and, if updates are too infrequent for you, just mod it. Chucklefish's community site has a large selection, and third party websites add even more options.

Space Ninjas vs. Capitalism vs. Fascism vs. the Flood simulator 2012 is a very solid shooter with solid movement mechanics, especially after the most recent movement overhaul. A wide variety of weapons, from AK-47000's to longbows, kunai to an organic acid spitter, enables players to constantly have something to try... after they acquire a nice pool of resources to purchase or build that thing; and there's a LOT of stuff to build. But, hey, premium currency discounts are login rewards and patience is for the poor, right?

No. In addition to controls that manage to make my mouse feel clunky, this game's poor excuse for a translation makes it an arduous task to play through even the tutorial. Oh, upon entering the second area in the game a conversation starts with a woman whose breasts were a few centimeters away from escaping their skin-tight jumpsuit prison. I didn't think that that was the type of game I signed up for....
