It's always an honor to be asked to be a part of someone's gaming world, and I'm grateful for the opportunity.
Though I don't know you (yet), I hope that will change in the near future, and we can share philosophies.
PS this post can be deleted. If it bothers you, please unfriend on Steam. Have a nice day
However, for 1)... it's not what I was talking about. I play with a "manual" gearbox IRL and in game whenever I get the chance. So, here, I was talking about the fact that you can't really shift between Drive and Reverse when you're steering and holding gas and/or brake (you basically have to contort your fingers just like you did in the 80's when cheat codes and special moves had to be entered hahaha)... the gearshift button is hard set on "up" on the digital pad and I wish I could remap it to "X" or "A"
for 2), thanks... I had forgotten about that... though it would feel more realistic to be able to hold both the brake and gas to achieve that effect. ;)
(if a car only allowed to rev its engine while holding the handbrake/e-brake/parking-brake, it would be an FF while the clutch was engaged and smoke came out of the tires) ^^
glhf !
1) You can uncheck "Simple gearbox" in Option and use manual gearbox (Shift/Ctrl buttons for change gears).
2) If you stopped and need to increase RPM you can use handbrake (Space button) and acceleration button in same time.
(already posted my review a while back... can't say it enough times though hahah)
anyway, quick question... is there any plan for button remapping ?
... not being to switch between D and R on the fly while still being able to steer is a little off-putting
good luck !
OH ! one suggestion : being able to rev (even slightly) before letting go of the brakes, like an auto gearbox IRL, would be an awesome addition !!! ;)
awesome work, keep it up !
Thank you for the honor, and I gladly accept.
