Bite-sized find the difference game that gently folds in a bit of creepiness. Easy to recommend to anyone looking outside the box for something fun to hold your attention for a couple of hours.

This is, all but in-name, an early access product. No arcade mode (the "story mode" is a handful of 1 round matches with crudely drawn stills in between) no advanced trial mode, no player vs cpu match, etc. Many features are promised to be added starting in March, so even if you are interested in this game, Seriously wait until the majority of the promised features are added. Especially considering this is a $60 game. Full price for an unfinished game doesn't seem fair.

Axiom Verge is a 16-bit style shooter/platformer game from another universe where Sega created a game to compete with Nintendo's Super Metroid: Similar in the general gameplay sense, yet with enough unique spins in all the right places to make this title feel like a fresh and fun game in this genre. Moves at a brisker pace than your typical metroid-vania, and features a wide array of unlockable powers for your signature gun that allows new ways to defend yourself from the sci-fi monstrosities that lurk in every room. Bosses are visually interesting and challenging, and the pace never slows down as you discover new areas at a steady clip. Not a revolution in the genre, but a great iteration that deserves attention.

Imagine you sit down to read a really great novel. You get snuggly under your covers, adjust the pillows, turn on your bedside lamp, but something doesn't feel right; deep down inside you know that you're not prepared to truly enjoy this book. So you get out of your bed, set the book down, and heat some water for tea. You tell yourself "a delicious cup of hot tea will really settle my spirits and set me on the path to enjoy this amazing novel that I've been hearing so much about". You let the tea steep for a bit, thinking about the literary adventure that awaits you. Once it cools off a bit, you take a sip to see how it tastes. You're slightly satisfied, so you begin to walk back to your bedroom, where the book awaits. You set the tea next to your bedside lamp, get snuggled under the covers again, pick up the book and open the cover. The title page's font is in old english; you get a heavy feeling in your stomach. You pick the teacup off the bedside table (next to your lamp) and sip gingerly, but there is a problem; you wanted a bit of milk and sugar in your tea. It is Prnce of Wales, after all (you know, to properly fit the vibe of the book. Green tea just didn't make sense.) So you get back out of your covers, accidentally drop the book, and step back out into the kitchen to fix your tea the way you like it. However, after adding the milk, your tea cools too much. You decide to put it in the microwave for a minute. To hasten your wait, you decide to wash some dishes. However, this takes more than a minute; there are plenty of dishes in the sink you've managed to ignore for a couple of days, and all of your unfinished work piled up. You felt determined to conquer the mountain that lay before you. After the last glass is dried and put away, you feel accomplished and kind of sleepy. You leave the tea in the microwave, walk back to your bedroom, jump under the covers and fall asleep. You never really feel like reading that book again, but every so often you pick it up to read the back cover. You say "Man, one day i'll get to this", but you know your time is better spent elsewhere, like washing the dishes.

It's a co-op survival fps where you survive by cooperating with your team mates while shooting enemies in a first person perspective. It's pretty videogame.
