Eventually you'll be forced to pick a bad card, only for it to become the best one in your deck. Those are the runs that keep you coming back for more. The enemies scale perfectly without becoming unfair so you always feel like you can win. There's a couple lifetimes worth of fun in this game, and those hours will go by quick. The only downside is it's not done, but even the unfinished art has its charm.
