Over a year since I've played, and I still think about this game all the time. There's really nothing else like it. Umurangi Generation has something to say and it's unapologetic about it. And the music rips.

I've been following this game for a long time and it is everything I hoped it would be! Another awesome Blendo video game.

I didn't know how a game that seems as simple as Papers, Please could affect me in the way that it did. The game forces you to care about the people trying to cross your border, balancing your willingness to help others with your need to survive and provide for your family. If you describe this game to somebody it might be hard to make it sound fun, and I don't know if it is what I would call fun, but it is a completely absorbing experience. Set aside some alone time and play this game.

Many people complain about the length of the game, but everything that is packed into this short experience is worth seeing. A second or third playthrough is even more rewarding than the first. You begin ito pick up on things you had missed before. The developer commentary adds another level of depth to the game where he explains details about the development process. Sure, it's not for everybody, but it's perfect for the audience that will appreciate it.
