Long time player, negative review over bugs and glitches turned positive. Devs have put in the time to fix things and improve the game, proving that this isn't just a cash grab, but a passion project. Many years later and the devs still devote time to improve and add to the game.

Gonna spend my time running my open games, friends always welcome. Healthy competition is always enjoyed.

Add me if you want to play this game in a fun, friendly and playfully aggressive, fair, pvp group.
Make new friends in our discord, pvp with good laughs on both ends.

I've played $1 games that actually have a plot and had more fun than the $10 I spent on this, which btw has no plot and is incredbily short sighted.

This thing file dumps so hard its not even funny. Game will file dump anytime your city is decently populated or is being attacked by any decent sized army, I notice everytime there is a giant attacking it crashes.

After it file dumps you literally have to go into programes and verify itegraty of game files to get back that one file it always keeps dumping to continue playing the game. If you don't do this before rebooting it will crash again after 2 seconds of your game being loaded and the second to third crash compramizes your game save and it will file dump your save. Learned that the hard way. I was looking forward to this game, but it feels like it lacks complexity and very much lacks something to do other than place buildings and balance productions and the rate they are gathered with the level of happiness in your kingdom while occasionally getting attacked by a dragon or the vikings, whome of which arent doing much than burning a few houses and taking/killing peasents, that with a well balanced city is completely unnoticable in the cause and effect asspect of the game.

There reaches a point where all you are building is houses... because thats all theres left to do, anything else is pointless.

walls and houses, walls and houses, walls and houses.
that sums this game up very easily, Sometimes i think the file dump is meant to be there like "you bored yet?" and just says "enough is enough" for you.

the smallest of children wouldn't be entertained by this.

like seriously... love yo self and DONT buy this game, you deserve better. At least not until there is more in it.

I have 16gb of ram and an 8 core processor, my graphics card is amazing and I play some of the newest heavy duty games ever like Ark and anything with amazing graphics really, I'm a graphics junky. So it's not my system. I've already checked. It's the game and it dumps at specific moments I can practically predict, so that screams the game, when i see a giant and go "wait for it" and then a file dump happens, it's the game.

As the game develops my review will change. I usually check out patches and when I see new updates I always check out the new pace of things.

Honestly multiplayer has been on the list as to be added for a long time now, over a year. I bought this game for that reason, I played so many times and its honestly gotten so boring without someone to do something with, this kind of game is the type that can go a long way... with friends but currently there is still no multiplayer, and I'm uninstalling this game until there is one and I have no intention of ever playing again until multiplayer is implamented.

(funny I come back and there is a permanant price drop to $15. I guess they consider the game "done" or just gave up. I knew this game wasnt gonna get aware with the constant community clean up they do and silencing people who speak out and lack of interest in actually doing patches and adding content thats worth a ****)

This game has been in development for many years now and it's gotten no where basicly and by the time this game is actually something that can be recognised as done, it will be outdated, especially with the VR system slowly nipping at developers' heels. I feel this statement should be made before anyone bothers to read on.

As a long term game for people to immerse themselves in and love. A long term game that will be one to come back to for many years to come, this game is NOT that game.

This is a broken game now and a waste of an investment for the rapidly changing future to come.

First off, I'm going to state how low the patch rate for this game has been, the type of rate where there was a whole YEAR before a patch came out.

Everything about this game is a bit dodgy, down to the operating system problems that developers roll their eyes at crying "alpha, alpha." to the harrassment of reviews, I've seen countless reviews including my own being hounded by a developer and a community spokes person or whatever they call themselves. I'm sure as someone reading this you'll notice comments on others' reviews by such persons as well as mine. Comments saying "we re-wrote the game so that's why it looks worse" on comments from those saying the game has managed to look worse two years later, which it has! To things like patch releases claiming fixes but in more than a few cases any fixes aren't even noticable among the CLUNKY crap pile they expect us to be blissful over.

In 2014 the developers told everyone they were aware the game does not work for Mac and they were "working on the problem", today STILL many MAC users suffer much hardship with this game down to simple things like the launcher working properly or carrying on with their fingers crossed praying for things not to crash for the millionth time, and they still sell it advertised as compatible for Mac. I guess you can call it compatible if you really want to stretch the truth paper thin. What makes me laugh though is this situation has been approached with such ignorance by developers, like "it's your rig" but let me tell you when someone has been playing games on their new MAC for a couple months with other games with no problem and then crash endlessly with Planet Explorers, I'm feeling there is a bit more than a rig problem there. The game does crash even with windows which I currently use. I've had crashes with this game on windows 7 and 10.

"Oh wait, give me a moment the launcher is not responding... My computer just froze" problem...

Also the personal issues, this game makes me feel like it induces headaches, legitamitly, the graphics somehow a hint of fuzzy even with a GeForce GTX 960 and 16GB of RAM and a 8core processor, I should be set for this game and the sounds, I feel like there is always this static background noise going on, but they want us to think it's a breeze or the ocean... I'm sorry but a breeze doesn't sound like that. I feel like I spent most of my time playing this game just taking excedrin migraine pills just to continue not to mention the clunkiness of the game in general is stress inducing.

The game suffers constant crashes and corrupt save files and when a update does come around you need to restart your game.

The developers have been working on this game for two and a half years before being put on steam, now an additional three years and its practically in the condition and place in development as it was in the beginning of it's steam release, some would even argue it's gotten worse since it's steam release.

250k copies sold at $24.99 give or take. I bought this game right after release and I bought two copies, I have so much regret

250k x 24.99 = $6,247,500

I see such little effort on this game it hurts, this game needs a better budget plan. They have enough money to develop this game more than they have, anyone can see that by glancing at the patch notes.

Had a great time struggling through constant crashes and corrupt save files only finding myself to start all over again many times.

10/10 Would Prefer The Stinging Of My Zoom Teeth Whitening Treatments Over Crash Landing On This Planet And Exploring Ever Again.

Honestly, I loved this game at one point, and I wanted to still love it, but it's so BROKEN!

Camera gets stuck in crappy area battle angles even after the boss battles and leaves me two inches in 3rd person from my character's face.

Bosses Disappear randomly in the middle of battle and don't even reappear after a bathroom break and cooking dinner...the long way, like with time and care. So a LONG TIME, I have yet to have a boss re-pop up for me, which leaves me heart broken because I love Star Wars and if they took concepts of this game and put it into one of the new star wars movies, like super profound force abilites, I'd be happy with that, but this GAME gets a thumbs down for me, honestly I'm sorry, I love it for being it, but I truly judge it on being so broken that is has broken my heart.

*Feels sad I bought the star wars collecton pack, hope The Force Unleashed 2 isn't as broken*
Also anyone please leave comments on which game from the Star Wars Collection I should play next! Can;t wait to play them all, so hard to choose!
