It's a good game for people who enjoy getting murdered in a bayou.

Update 2024: I still stand by this.

It's a great sandbox. Gameplay is real time with pausing and faster speeds. It's an interesting setting with pretty subtle storytelling that you have to look for and connect the pieces yourself. It starts off as a squad based RPG and if you want to you can build a settlement or settlements and manage them to further fund your adventures. It's very satisfying to turn your ragged band into a crew of hyperskilled murdermachines. It's also pretty dang moddable. There is a lot of good content out there and if you find something lacking or annoying you can mod it pretty easily if there isn't a mod for it already. I recommend it highly. Beep.

It's medieval, more melee L4D except you kill all the rats. Fantastic.
