Hello, my name is Dr. Arthur Scherbius.

I was born the 30th of October 1878.

I was a German electrical engineer, inventor and pioneer. I invented the famous mechanical cipher Enigma machine - I then patented the invention, and later sold the machine under the brand name "Enigma".

I offered unequaled opportunities and showed the importance of cryptography to military and civil intelligence.
