10/10, the least cozy, cozy game i've ever played. you wanted to relax and have fun, but also complete offerings and make money, and have romance? well you need to complete 10 things a day, you only have about 10 minutes per day.
general store is closed sundays and wednesdays. blacksmith on saturdays. you must wait 2-4 days per upgrade, can only upgrade things one at a time.
or, you can just relax and amount to nothing. you're not a millionaire by end of year 1? i don't want to know you.

i may be utterly useless at planning irl, but in coral island i'm a mastermind.

10/10. i can finally ♥♥♥♥ with my friends without them calling me slurs.
because they can ♥♥♥♥ with me back.
i recommend rockets + laser only.

if you were obsessed with that one part of Mirror's Edge, you'll love this game. so surreal and atmospheric, and unbelieveably large.

7/10 - the ending was rough, and there are some seriously annoying/frustrating parts that i felt could have been avoided.

the style and soul has been sapped out of it - gentrified and commercialised. corny ass writing, feels much less funny or charming and now you're just being lectured by a clanker. worst offender of all - microtransactions. 35$ for a costume bundle. even worse that some shmucks already bought it. literally why? i would rather pay full price for a good experience. i guess that doesn't line shareholder pockets huh.
online only? why. just make it an opt-in service. it's that easy. the single-player experience exists ... just ... stop making it required to be online.

a pretty gross bastardisation of the skater culture. music selection is good though. it feels like suburban upper-middle class kid's perspective of skateboarding. there's no rough or grit, it's just pushing you to to buy microtransactions and play the silly little spots. what did we expect though? great series of games made with real care in a great period are bygone; this "game" (a live service) now really stinks of it trying too hard to be modern. oh and EA sucks.

do NOT buy discord nitro, do NOT get voicemod. this is the ONLY soundboard that is truly worth it. no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, runs fast, and requires no additional audio setup. injects sounds into your microphone (seriously don't understand how, but it works).

integrated sound recorder, to record either your desktop sound or microphone sound for each clips.
Includes a basic audio editor (crop + delete, save overwrite or save as new). categories, hotkeys and hotbar.

pro tip, don't over think it.

this game - kinda sucks. it's like the worst parts of destiny and warframe combined.
the "campaign" is as follows: new zone, do 3 - 5 public "patrol" missions, do some operation, go back to albion. every 2/3 zones, do a void intercept. the challenging parts are kinda fun, when there are LOTS of enemies on the screen, 1-shotting them. using good builds. not end game myself, but i can tell there are aspects that are fun. the slog that is going through the boring story is not worth it.
there is a massive amount of garbage technobabble, that makes it really hard to want to get into the game, especially because the english translation is *almost* there - it's just VERY verbose. the visual clutter and iconography sucks. keeping up with it is so annoying.
honestly, just play destiny/warframe - or put your time into something else. and ESPECIALLY do not spend any real money on this game. there is literally no point.
my favorite parts are the absurd names of things, enemies: "creature", "predator", "bulgebloat".

Highly addictive MMO, engineered crack. "Just this last thing". The game itself has lots of glaring QoL flaws, and is VERY heavily dependent on the multiplayer, group aspect. Thankfully, there are certain things you can grind past having to wait for a specific group, and there's always a lot of people on doing metas and dailies.
The steam version is identical, but you can use the steam overlay which is a HUGE HUGE HUGE plus for this game. It's like having a built in browser. I guarantee you'll have > 3 tabs open about your build, achievements, crafting, etc. so the browser is a really big advantage for this version.

if you have an ANet account already, you can use `-provider Portal` launch command instead of being forced to use Steam to login.

some addons to consider: gw2-addon-manager, arcdps, blish hud, taco.
