I cried.

If [Total War] and [Heroes of Might & Magic] had a baby, this would be it. Strategy and RPG blended together, with a strong focus on storytelling. The game evolves based on your decisions. In-depth morality and religion charts that grant you new abilities/units based on the way you play. RTS battles and campaign map similar to Total War games, with an item and hero system that feels like a Heroes game.

A rhythm-based RPG, quite rare. Extremely witty dialogue, interesting crafting system, and awesome music. This is my gem of the holiday sale. If you appreciate RPG's or rhythm-based games, buy this.

A unique survival-horror FPS with a thrilling atmosphere.

-As of late 2011, probably in the top-3 for best looking game ever.
-Ammo is scarce, and also used as currency -- every bullet matters.
-Limited time to breathe when outdoors.
-Hardcore mode with no HUD and even less ammo around the world.
-An alternate ending that makes you think and play much differently.

Expected time of completion: ~8 hours.

2D platforming madness that perfectly emulates classic games. Phenomenal retro-styled music. Excellent atmosphere. Addicting, fun, and HARD.

By far the scariest game I've ever played... It rivals playing Alone in the Dark as a kid. I'm now a grown man, and I'm more scared than I was then.

2016 Update: Still a standout game in what has become an overpopulated genre. This is a game that I will always fall back to when looking for a proper scare.
