Wow, where do I begin? I had high hopes for this route, and was looking forward to it very much. However, it is a HUGE disappointment. There are some pros, but not many.
Pros:
-MP36 modeling and textures are on point
-Programmable LED numberboard on MP36
-Route itself very accurate
-Horn and bell spot on for MP36

Cons:
-MP36 POORLY scripted. Brakes not functioning properly (too powerful and the independent brake will not go below 20%)
, alerter will not shut off even after reset button has been pressed. Sounds are just recycled F59PHI Surfliner sounds (except for horn and bell), which are even oddly scripted. The lights are waaay off. As in there's only 2 settings aside from OFF, which is Full and Marker. They didn't even include flashing ditch lights.
-The bombardier cabcar is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke. While it is modeled accurately, and you can program the train number on it, those are about the only 2 things that are on par. The sounds are an abomination. The horn and bell are jut copied over from the MP36, and it seems that there are two interior bells that sound off at the same time for an unharmonious sound. The throttle is poorly scripted, and notching up or down on the throttle will trigger the dynamic brakes on the MP36.
-Scenery is not very accurate in certain areas. Some places missing buildings, one big thing would be various stations missing the Spot Cab signs.
-I'm not sure if it's just my PC acting up, but I haven't even been able to do a full run on the route (at least doing scenarios) because I get a Vertex Buffer error, which with some research I discovered it to be not enough resources on my video card when the game tries to load 3D objects, but that's just not possible considering the specifications of my PC build and the fact that this isn't quite an issue on other routes.

These are just things I can list off the top of my head, but the point of this is that Dovetail let us down with this route, which isn't worth it at 20% off. And to think after the 22nd they're going to make it the same price as the base game which has rolling stock and routes not as rushed. Shame on you Dovetail.
