I went into *Helldivers 2* thinking it was just another co-op shooter.
Now I'm 50 hours deep, my houseplants are dead, my family thinks I've enlisted, and I yell "FOR SUPER EARTH!" in my sleep.

Every mission starts with optimism.
Every mission ends with my teammates yelling "WHY WOULD YOU THROW A GRENADE IN THE EVAC ZONE?!"

Friendly fire is not just "on"—it's encouraged. It's practically a love language.

Want to feel like a hero?
Too bad. You're a patriotic space janitor cleaning up bugs, bots, and your own corpse from last mission.
And I’ve never felt prouder.

10/10 would vaporize myself with an orbital 500kg bomb while screaming about freedom again.

-Incredibly inconsistent balancing with each season (for more information see akimbo mozam's),

-While the movement mechanics are some of the best around, its nullified because with crossplay and aim assist, lil Timmie and his xbox controller thats missing 3 buttons can beam you harder than a Ford Ranger behind you on the highway.

-Cheaters are rampant with little action from the devs,

-Battle pass content is absolutely disgusting for a multi-billion dollar company, you'll find more creativity and design from that one grandparent that plastic wraps their couch.

-An absolute waste of time to even try practicing. Even with a 990 pro SSD you'll wait an unskippable 30 seconds just for your special needs fillers to drop hot instantly and swiftly get finished by the solo you hit 60 times because your team wont take a fight without purple armour and full attachments.

-oh yeah, no solo queue, and be warned, this game pairs you with brains so smooth they push all boundaries previously thought of.

-Trust EA to be handed gold on a silver platter and somehow create a worse game than high school students using batch script.

-Such an abysmal failure it'll make you wonder if they even opened the game before posting the changes.

Seriously? I pay almost $23 for this sloppy game and it goes free. The drop you guys give doesn't even have effort put into it. Really shows the appreciation of the community.

One of the best multiplayer games of our generation. A unique take on soccer with incredibly polished gameplay, high skill ceiling, graphics and progression system ahead of its time.

I've been playing csgo for about 4 5 6 7years now. (Update 2025 November)

Latest: Somehow the game has gotten even worse.
The hit registration is more broken than ever
I wouldn't even bother playing this game if you don't have high speed ethernet.
Ranking is absolutely trashed, I'm not permitted to queue with a 4k elo player because of the skill difference
but the game will put 3 of them on my team anyways

I cant give you any reason this game is decent because any reason i give is outweighed by how horrible the community is, the lack of development, consistency and reliability is. Go play something else. Seriously.

if you're good enough for the other team to think you're cheating and report you enough, you get put in a low trust queue and you have to play with toxic teammates, other cheaters and griefers.

Matchmaking is in complete disarray and makes NO sense. I get matched up with people who's ranks are so low i'm not even allowed to queue with them, while the other team has people 4, even 7 ranks higher than myself.

If you want any sort of enjoyment, be prepared to pay monthly fees for 3rd party applications to provide the servers this multi million dollar company should be providing.

The servers are STILL riddled with latency issues, lag actually gives you an advantage sometimes, its STILL 64 tick and the hit registration is STILL broken

My conclusion: Just dont play it. Your life will be better.

After 3 years of playing this game I still never get tired of it. I originally started off with a hacked version i got from my friend and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to support the devs <3
