I'll admit, I'm mainly here for the roleplaying scene and was only invited because of a friend. That was a little over two months ago and I've been enjoying every minute of both gameplay and roleplaying here. I've tried all sorts of MMOs throughout the years, and this is the only one I've genuinely enjoyed at all.

I don't know what the hell keeps making me come back to this game, because it's absolutely awful. The game itself is a slow, poorly optimized mess with some terrible gameplay mechanics; yet I still continue to play this ♥♥♥♥ year after year with my friends and genuinely enjoy doing so.

This is an extremely fun and interesting game. It's got a wonderful concept for a 'Hack N Slash' and runs it pretty well, and I have to give it that; but this is not the game for me. If you have the patience to play for a while to learn and 'Git Gud' with the fighting, then go ahead.

I think the hours explain it well enough.

Eh, yeah it's a pile of garbage, there's only a handful of servers remaining (most if not all are dead except for one), and the game is really only good for playing in single player. While I do recommend not buying this game at all because of how dead, abandoned, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it is, I will say that if you're bored for a weekend or something similar, pick it up, have some fun just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about in the world, discover as much as you can, pull off daredevil stunts and see if you survive, just go nuts, after all, nobody's stopping you anymore.

Everyone has the skill level of those people who have been playing HL1 multiplayer since it came out
People from one side help their friends who are on the other team so that team can win

In short, unless you want to spend the next 2 years playing nothing but this, you're not gonna like it.

I want to like this game, I really want to, but after playing it for about an hour, I decided to take a break, next time I tried starting it up, it wouldn't even start, but it will still say i'm playing the game, which means I can't try and restart it.
