Helldivers 2 has a co-op experience unlike any other I’ve ever played, not once removing my hands from my controller and not once losing my heart rate. The mission design of Helldivers 2 is superb – creating a distinct mix of tense strategic gameplay that forces you to work together while still providing moments of chaos and pure fun. A few moments go by and you’re doing brilliantly, you’re working together with your team to grab objectives, and you’re invincible. Next moment, you’re rushing to the dropship with your whole team, your heart racing, just tapping away against the horde of enemies around you.

Every mission can end in a nail-biting twist, such as the team being wiped by a poorly placed mortar sentry – victory is always sweet, and fleeting, and every decision counts. This blend of triumph and tragedy, coupled with the game's robust mechanics and thrilling gameplay, makes for an addictive and rewarding experience. Doesn't get any better than this ;)

Whether you're a grizzled veteran of the original Helldivers or a first-timer, Helldivers 2 is an enduring and enjoyable co-op experience, one that takes true grit and gamesmanship to complete correctly but, more importantly, strengthens your bonds with your friends when you manage to triumph. I highly recommended for anyone looking for an action-packed, cooperative challenge.
