probably one of the most interesting games i've played.... both Andrew and Ashley are broken and messed up people and do some really horrible things. despite that I genuinely care about both of them; they could have been happy in another life. playing through multiple routes is fun since it not everything is explained in every path and you learn some new things about the characters on the alternate routes

the best part is the content of this game is a huge filter for casuals and normal people, don't let what you've heard about this game stop you from trying it (or do, it's your loss, probably)

Great characters and story. Mita is really interesting and she has some great facial expressions; her VA did a great job voicing her and her variations. Cappie and Mila are my favorites but honestly I loved all the variations of Mita. Lots of easter eggs and secrets to find as well. Played through the game twice already, and now I'm waiting for the Peaceful Mode to be added by the developers.

tl;dr:
- Lots of good changes, simplified overcomplicated systems. Boss fights are really amazing.
- Some very bad changes... ascendency trials, endgame mapping is tedious/boring, insanely unbalanced endgame (life and armour are so much worse than ES)
- Don't expect anywhere the same level of crafting as PoE1 for better or worse
- Don't recommend paying for EA right now

Tips for a good time:
- Don't play melee unless you like getting one-shotted
- Don't play life-based characters (ES can get 1K HP with a single low level unique)
- Don't play using armour (you can stack 20k armour or just use the Hollow Mask while naked)

It's a bit insane that you can get tons of ES from skill points, but for life you get a *single* 3% increase to maximum life. Armour does literally nothing either since it requires tons of investment and most pinnacle bosses have Overwhelm. You'd be better off running in naked. I didn't understand why I was so squishy until people started discussing the mechanics around this.
