BPSR gets way more hate than is deserved.

To all of those complaining about the gacha system, the main gacha is for cosmetic only. An argument can be made about pulling for the battle imagines (similar to echoes in WuWa) and upgrading them to max via credit card magic. I find that most F2P players can compete competitively with whales no problem. Most content in the game is team oriented anyways so who cares if someone in your raid party swiped, be grateful. As long as you keep up with weekly things you should have no problem keeping up with the crowd.

My only gripes with the game is not even the developers faults to begin with. The social aspect of the game can be a bit lackluster. However, what makes it unbearable for some players, rightfully so, is the gatekeeping based on ability score (AS.) Some classes based on their talent trees have an innate advantage in raising their AS compared to others which is a bit odd to me. But where it becomes a problem is when people are asking for AS that are either hard to obtain as F2P or impossible to begin with. *Most* content (as of right now) is not all that difficult to complete with avg AS levels. Where the problem arises is when groups are requesting up to 3-5k above what the average person would have without swiping. This is what leads people to be upset about the imagine gacha system because it allows people who are willing to pay to inflate their AS just to easier find parties to clear content. This then becomes a chain effect because the people who need to clear that are left behind because of a lower AS need to clear said content to raise their AS.

My words to those people who may be getting left behind is to find a nice guild with people who are willing to help! Personally in my guild, there are plenty of people willing to help with all kinds of content even if they gain no benefit from doing so. The guild system in the game may feel a bit underwhelming, but I see it as an easy way to connect with friends who are willing to help with content most of the time.

I highly recommend playing this game, even if you only receive it during free weekend events. The game is always changing and evolving with every second that ticks away at the clock. You never know where your next opponent is going to be coming from, and that is one of the beauties of this game. You are kept on your toes almost 24/7.
