(small) negatives right upfront
Mechanically this game is a little glitchy and rough around the edges, particularly with the terminal, some achievements, etc (take this with a grain of salt I played on Gentoo Linux, AKA not your average setup).

"Oh why do you still recommend it then?"
Well I'm glad you asked person I just made up. I recommend it because this game has a story that is truly heartfelt and wonderful expressed in a medium that I can deeply relate to, in a whimsical aesthetic that I truly yearn for. This game is beautiful in ways I don't have the words to describe and made me feel and think things that only a game like this ever could.

If you're looking at this page, if you're seeing patterns here, whether you know or whether you don't, this game is probably for you, and I think you should give it a try. I mean hell if I don't sound nuts to you then can I be any more obvious?

One of the best games I have ever played, and one of the only ones ever to make me feel the way it did at it's end. No words can describe what it feels like to play this game, you should find out for yourself, preferably before you're spoiled.

Early Access Review
Alright, back when I last had my review up I had around 24 hours ingame, and just a couple more hanging around some community spaces, the community had some toxic elements to it and some game-related things were quite awful but I felt that shouldn't take away from the game and the genuinely special experiences I'd had on it.

I was wrong to not consider these elements.

Part 1: User generated content and 0.9
A while ago 0.9 added the "Zero Day System", henceforth referred to as the ZDS, this system would allow you to hack into systems that were otherwise inaccessible by creating new vulnerabilities of specific types on every 2nd month, unfortunately this system had a VERY high barrier for entry, only the smartest of players could figure out anything at all since none of it was documented or explained, and for one of my friends it took outright looking into the game's code because she was advanced enough of a player to know how to do that and where to look, the consequence of all of this? During the first half of 0.9's release, hosting anything at all was only for the privileged few, and that privileged few were Celestial Corp, almost nobody else survived for the first half of 0.9. Eventually some half-measure for this botched system was added to make zeroday patching cumulative, but it was already too late, the motivation for players to make user generated stuff is at an all-time low, and the website economy nowadays mostly consists of seizure pages as opposed to any actually fun and interesting programs or sites.

Part 2: Crowsploit, Celestial, and me
As you've guessed, I'm a member of Celestial Corp, but I'm also involved in Crowsploit as a tool developer, under a pseudonym I helped Jessa get the basics of the macro system set up, she then took it to the next level and implemented it into the system module of it, pretty neat stuff, I go over to check on crowsploit months down the line while I try to get back into the swing of things and I find it discontinued, Jessa abandoned Grey Hack due to a certain community member constantly bickering on. You know who you are. This community member - shortly after a formal complaint about them was filed to the developer - was then promoted to admin, now I don't know about you but promoting the minimod who accused the developer of the gh network map website of cheating baselessly, who demotivated tens if not hundreds of members of the community from making their awesome projects, it seems a little backwards does it not? Minimodding is usually punished in other communities, but be warned, in this one it is embraced.

These two factors and more have led me to losing my spark for this game, it feels odd to say this about a fictional hacking game but the magic's gone for me, I can't find the motivation to continue my projects because if I step just a little outside the intended functionality of the game - something you HAVE to do sometimes if you want things to stay fun - I'll be called a cheater by a minimod-turned-admin who now has the power to ban me without recourse.

Tl;dr: I stand with Jessa, things need fixing otherwise this game is going to die to this, I have no further comment at this time, please do not attempt to contact me over my review.

Ok, the graphics are great, as expected and shown, the gameplay is interesting and can easily have the entire premise of the level changed An example is Felix's level can be turned against him overall it is a great game focused on pixelated graphics
