I was expecting to be good given the positive comments and reviews I have seen, but damm... This exceeded my expectations. This is literally feels like an official Portal game. There is so much lore, hidden areas, good map design (challenging but does not require some crazy bugs/exploits like some other mods do), excellent story, dubbing, everything feels good! I would say that since it's a little more challenging, I enjoyed more then the original Portal 2. If you like Portal, you have no excuse not to play this. Hands down this is the best Portal mod ever.

Keeping the original review for context... After hours of trying to figure out what's wrong, I was told by a friend to download UPlay Connect from their website directly. After downloading it from there, I've got much newer version which actually managed to launch that game. After uninstalling the version installed by Steam, I can now launch the game from within Steam. Steam downloads old version of their launcher which refuses to auto-update. I was really looking forward to playing this game and honestly this experience before even starting it is a bit discouraging. If EA can make headless Origin service, I see no excuse for UPlay.

---

What a waste of money...

Can't even launch the game. Reinstalled entire system and I am still getting "This product cannot be activated right now, please try again" in their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ UPlay launcher. Why the ♥♥♥♥ is the game even on Steam when it needs their non-functioning crap? Go advertise on your own site if you want to use your launcher like that.

I was expecting a story-driven FPS game rather then some insane open-world RPG game and I am not disappointed. In fact, I am blown away by the story. Definitely going to be replaying this game again in the future. Really liked the idea of uploading someones mind onto a computer. Really liked the main story including all the small details around it. Absolutely recommend!

I just got my Index and I was crazy enough to start with this as my second game (after Beat Saber if that counts). First I was a bit sick but after about hour of gameplay it was all fine.

First of all I would like to say. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. VR is awesome. Second. This game is damm good. Not only the gameplay is really fun, but the story and the lore around the game is also really good. The gameplay combined with the story and all other elements like music makes this must play game if you have VR headset.

It's funny how it look average on flat screen, but it's a blast in VR.

Just a small thing, but was a little annoying. For some reason some save checkpoints does not save your inventory, which means you can lost all your weapons when you turn the game on the next day. Would be nice if it was fixed.

Had to refund the game. I am very disappointed by the developers. Instead of implementing proper networking, they put EAC in the game. In a game where any sort of wallhacks, aimbots or anything else would be useless, but because of them using default Unity networking system, there were people speedhacking and noclipping all over the place. All of this could be solved with proper command based networking system. No anticheat needed.

If you have friends, it can be the best game imaginable.

If you don't have friends, it's still good, but you need to type fast.

Usually when I see a trailer saying something like: "You are felling unstoppable!" or "This game is absolute blast!", it's usually just some bullsgit made by the review site to make the review more entertaining to read, but this... ohhhhh yeeeaaa!

I am playing this game on Linux in Proton without any issues at all and I have to say that every dollar spend on that game was worth it. I have been playing only few hours, but its awesome! That game starts really slowly teaching you every possible button press (little bit annoying), then it throws you right into the combat which forced me to switch into easy mode since I was not able to beat the level, but after playing some time, I really got into it and now I feel like a killing machine!

This game is exactly what I imagine a good FPS should be. Having a crazy back story when you hear how people think you are literally a god brutally killing the demones and of course the killing itself. Also the music fits perfectly.

If I could, I would have played the entire game at once, but sadly I don't have that much time. That's how good it is.

Only thing that I just want to note (it may be caused by me using Linux, but trying it on other machine with Windows seems to be exactly the same) is that in some levels the game just drops the FPS to really low like around 20 for few seconds until all the newly spawned enemies are loaded. It would be really nice if that was not happening, because sometimes in combat it cost me lot of health.

Anyway definitely would recommended. 10/10. Rated as masterpiece. Like all the doom games basically.

The game is incredibly nice. I like the fact that I can run it in Steam Proton in Linux, but there is one problem that makes me completely angry and I can't recommend the game because of that.

I prefer to play areas over the adventure part since it's quick and more fun in my opinion. The issue are massive matchmaking times for the areas. I am writing this while waiting for a match for more than 40 minutes. I have a full team with 3 friends and we are all waiting. How is it possible that we can't get a game? I don't believe that the game that has 35K people online is unable to get 16 people together. In the lobby it even seems that there are all the teams joined but the game just does not start. I think that it's a bug or incredibly bad mm system.

I am in the middle of EU and I am playing in the peak player times.
