Awesome rouge-like survivor game, excellent progression system, really makes you feel like your getting stronger...game has fair difficulty as well...worth the price even without a sale. Highly recommended.

Servers for the most part have stabilised, lets hope the game doesn't go back to an unplayable state for cycle v2.

22 hours after launch and the servers are just as bad if not worse than yesterday. I thought playing on legacy instead of starting a new cycle character would be slightly better in terms of the wait, there is no difference. Once they fix the servers, I will fix my review.

(2nd update: Sept 24/2020) -- CEO of Flaming Foul Studios got in contact with me over Steam DM's in order to address my concerns. The help was swift and on point, and within a few days a patch was pushed out that fixed my save corruption issues. Been playing the hell out of the game ever since. Now that there does not seem to be any more issues related to save corruption (at least for me) I will change the review to a "recommend" but keep the initial review and the first update as is, just in case others are still having save corruption issues.--

(update: Sept 20/2020 ) -- been playing the game with another friend where he is hosting, and that seems to work fine, as he is not having the save corruption issues i am. I will continue to play the game in that fashion, until the time where this save corruption is hopefully fixed, and at that point i will amend the review again. --

Really enjoyed playing the game when it was actually working, sadly I have lost three saves so far. First save was my friends when he hosted the game, we played one mission and then got disconnected and the save was gone. Second save lost was me hosting a new game for my friends, played that for three hours logged off and everything seemed fine. Came back this morning and the save for corrupted. Third loss was starting my own single player game, played for seven hours, took a break for dinner, came back and that save was corrupted to. Hopefully this corruption issue gets fixed soon, or there is no point in playing this game.
