If this is a mere early access demo, then I'm very much looking forward to the full game. As is, it's already good enough for me to wanna buy it to get more game to play around with... But it could be improved in a few areas.

1. HP pickups seem to be kinda bugged, and don't always work when you walk over them, which is annoying, but something that shouldn't be too hard to fix by release.
2. Hitching/lag. Definitely something I expect to not be quite as prevalent in a full release, but as is it's not terrible. The game mostly runs fine.
3. Dante's weapon feels especially weak. Which is fine for a starter weapon, but it could definitely use some way to permanently upgrade it later on. Maybe some quest in a later circle of Hell that gives you a buffed version?
4. Maybe add some rare charms with more interesting effects? Possibly even cursed charms that come with a drawback for greater benefits? The charm system as-is is totally fine and it's ok to let the card upgrades have more depth than it but... I feel like the charms could have a little more going on.

Aside from that though. Good game. Great artwork, great music, good gameplay, the card system is really nice. Just all around really satisfying and I can't wait to see how it all comes together in the full version.

It does have some issues, but it still feels pretty fun!

I feel like the people complaining about the netcode are exaggerating a bit, I've certainly played multiplayer far worse than what Faaast Penguin has going for it.

Having to log in via Epic isn't too bad either. I already play Rocket League, Fall Guys, and Fortnite anyways. Easy AntiCheat... Is never great and I get why people don't like it, but I haven't had any bugs relating to it myself.

Aesthetically, the game looks pretty nice! It doesn't have the most polish I've ever seen, but designs and animations all work well enough to make the game pretty visually appealing.

Gameplay is... Simple, but not so simple that it stops being engaging. The game could probably use a few courses that are a little more complex than the current offerings, and more courses in general (I'm not sure how many there is total, but it feels like maybe 8? You're gonna play the same courses a lot, although I expect that to get better over time hopefully.)

Campanella is a super solid little arcadey title that I got pretty good at pretty fast and enjoyed a whole heck of a lot. Once I beat that game I figured Campanella 2 would be an absolute breeze and I'd finish it in an hour or two after a few attempts...

Campanella 2 is kicking my teeth in. It's absolutely brutal and punishing me for even small mistakes. Every level introduces some new enemy type or new mechanic that destroys me in entirely brand new ways. Health pickups are rare, power-ups only give you incremental boosts at best. I've been at this game for longer than any other game in the collection and I've just been dying over and over and over and over. I get so frustrated and angry and annoyed at almost everything this title throws at me. It's probably my single favorite video game of 2024 and worth the price of UFO 50 alone.

Campanella 3 is probably good or something I dunno, I'll try it when I beat Campanella 2 finally I guess. Also there's like 47 other games and a lot of those are pretty good too. I'll try more of those once I either beat Campanella 2 or it breaks me.

Before buying this, I was kinda worried the twin-stick controls would just be a gimmick that didn't really add anything but... It works really well. It's a gimmick, sure. But one that works well within this style of game. Game feel is good, graphics are good, music's good (especially in the DLC,) and it's got enough content to be worth the price tag. So this is an easy recommend for me!

Not everything's perfect though. The multiplayer could use a bit of work, the game could benefit from some more difficult content and more tracks to race on, and the story/writing is pretty bad (but you're probably not playing this game for the story, so that's not a big deal really.)

It's pretty fun! I'm enjoying it so far. The prompts are concise and it feels super satisfying to land them all. Plus the freestyle mayhem system with "hidden" prompts feels even more satisfying if you manage to hit a lot of them, and it raises the skill ceiling high enough that it feels like there's almost always something higher to aim for. And the soundtrack's pretty good, which is important for a rhythm game. But... There are two major issues at the moment.

1. The inability to remap controls. Everyone brings this up, and rightfully so. The default controls for controller aren't great, and there's no ability to change them yet.
2. Framerate issues after restarting levels. Even on a GTX 1650, which should be more than enough to run this game without issue, the framerate can stutter and make the experience pretty terrible if you restart a level (sometimes only once, sometimes after multiple restarts.

Both of these issues have been addressed by the developer, and they've stated they're looking into patching both issues. It's still a fun game even with those hiccups currently present, but it'll be even better if and when the game's patched to fix things.

This is something I see as a bit of a niche game. I don't know if most people would like it all that much, but if you watch the trailer and think it looks like it'd be something you'd enjoy, you almost certainly will enjoy it.

I absolutely do.

It's a bridge building game that doesn't stick too much to realism, and it's just fun. The hydraulics add a lot to the game, but it's still just about building bridges.

Early Access Review
It's a pretty fun game, and I feel like I might be in the minority on this opinion but... Maybe a tad too easy. I'm not sure if I've just got absurdly good luck, or if my mind for strategy carried me to the top, but I've managed to finish a run of this game in 7 attempts, and under 6 hours of gameplay. I'll definitely still play it, there's two other characters I have to win with now. Plus there's the daily challenges to compete with others on but...

I'd like to see an option for a harder difficulty setting. Something that makes me feel just a bit more accomplished when I actually manage to best the act 3 boss.

Edit: I've unlocked ascension mode. It's a beautiful thing. Disregard my comments on the game being too easy, there is indeed a hard mode. Sort of.
