One hell of a puzzle/strategy game that will keep you occupied for eons to come.

They could have called this game "Schadenfreude" and it would accurately describe what to expect. For a "horror" game, it's hilarious.

It's a silly pirate-themed sandbox, just take it easy, don't get too attached to loot, don't be afraid to take risks, and you'll have a blast.

I don't know what convinced me to buy this game.
I've seen plenty of other people play this game and have seen how frustrating it can be, mostly because the dupes are notoriously stupid, but the various features of the game seem to work directly against you from the beginning.
Need water? Well you're gonna have to dig out to get more water. To dig out you need jobs. Jobs automatically raise decor/food expectations by the time you can actually dig OUT through the Abyssilite into the other zones with ice/water that you can use, but the ones with water are full of germs which make your dupes sick which can kill them, but if you don't get water you can't grow better food or produce oxygen (and oxygen seems to be incredibly rare anymore), which means they'll get MORE stressed, until eventually they're spending more time de-stressing than they are actually taking care of the base and it all falls apart from there.
Anyway, decent game, stress sucks, germs suck.
