The game doesn't have accessibility options as simple as a brightness slider. The disabled community has offered feedback for months and have been ignored by the devs and harassed by players and moderators on the Palia Discord. The game is ableist trash.

The strategy that becomes necessary at higher difficulties is a big draw of the game.
