Boring, nothing happens, no reset mechanics. Just clicking buttons to buy things and waiting for money. Definately better incremental games out there.

Like idle games that keep getting extra mechanics the more you play them? Here you go.

I really enjoy the gameplay in Dying Light but it has some obvious flaws that are common to console ports.

Inability to bind all actions on individual keys is frustrating and becomes a large problem if you have the optional PvP mode turned on.
Fullscreen / Windowed seems broken:
- Switching it to Windowed to use something like Borderless Gaming doesn't help with any of the following issues plus it keeps switching back to fullscreen.
- Tabbing out is slow, and for some reason requires that you right click for it to control anything you tab to.
- Scrolling your mouse wheel while the game is active will continue to affect your previously active window, making playing and watching YouTube a pain in the ass.
Remember when games used to run out of control in loading screens and cause your computer to be pinned at 100% CPU/GPU? Well Dying light wanted to bring that flaw back. I guess turn on VSync.

I still want to play it all of the time, but I wish they would have fixed their technical issues.

Lets start this off with a cliche... I like this game so much, but at the same time I want it to be better.

You'll buy the whole monitor, but you'll only need the edge. In a bad way, the edges are boring.

This game is at it's best when you're dodging through things to the beat and feeling like you're an absolute ninja, and as you go through the story mode you'll probably try to play like that, then the game will break for you if you go online. Once you're online you'll realize something very disappointing, to be the best at the game you don't want to be ninja, you want to know the spot, the one magical spot, that hardly anything spawns in so you're safe, and that feels so disappointing.

I want to play this game being rewarded for getting close and dodging through the obsticles, but instead if you play the challenge mode you're punished for dashing, getting less points if you dodge at all, meaning if the best players getting S ranks are the guys just sitting there in specific spots...

Another down side that maybe I'll get used to is that during every boss fight I'm hitting the dash button along with the beat feeling bad ass and then getting punished for it. It seems like the dash goes just a little too far for the way fights are designed, resulting in your hitting things that you kind of feel like you shouldn't. It's another aspect that feels like it's saying "No, slow down, no dancing here."

It feels like it wants to be a visualizer more then a game at times.

Reward me for dashing through bullets in challenge mode. Give me a mode that restrict my movement to a select set of points that way you need to dodge through bullets, do something to make it so you're not just sitting in the top left corner the whole game.

I'm conflicted... I want to recommend, and I don't at the same time.
