Great game, couldn't put it down until I've finished it.
Really hope there's another one in the pipeline, I'll definitely get it.

If you like detective games, and/or noir then it definitely will worth your while.
The concept of using animals in the art while weird at first glance, really grew on me, especially when I heard them talk.
There's just so much effort put in the art and voices it's hard to overstate.

I'm actually super interested in some unexplored areas, like the hive and Roachtown.
If you explore the game deeply, the lore goes fairly deep, it's a really well put together world.

While I definitely recommend the game, there are some feedback / caveats I'd like to mention:
- When learning about new things that appeared in the codex or as new pieces of information of a person I found it confusing to find what was new in my notebook. There's essentially no differentiation between notes that I've read / seen and ones that I have not. This is quite annoying, when I have a lengthy discussion with a person, and I have multiple notifications about new entries. Because of this I had this lingering thought while playing that I may have missed something from my notes. (This was even more annoying as I got more entries in my "codex" page, and it takes ages to get to the end of it just to find out there's nothing new there.)
- It would've been helpful to show some sort of indication that I've exhausted a type of interaction (like talk/ask/see), instead of having to experience a certain discussion twice just to realise I've done so.
- About midway subtitles started to differ from the voice over. Just a pet peeve of mine.
- Investigations didn't seem to have any weight, and there's no way to do them wrong. It also seemed a bit inconsistent and hard to figure out the logic behind it at times, so once or twice I resorted to just trying whatever the game told me to put where.
- Another pet peeve, but a couple times "seeing" someone actually started conversations instead.
- I have a 13" laptop screen, and maybe this is better on bigger screens, but it was quite annoying having to click on all note entries to be able to read them.

In any case, the story was great, got me hooked and didn't let go until the very end.
Apart from some minor annoyances mentioned above, I have no complaints, and I can wholeheartedly recommend the game to anyone who has the time.

You can easily get 16h of fun out of it if you visit all the temporary locations, which is what I did, and I'm sure there's a couple more hours you can squeeze out of it, especially if you listed to dialogues to the end, instead of clicking through as soon as you've read the text. (Again, which is what I did.)

There's absolutely no rival to it.
I enjoy Overwatch, but it can't hold a candle to the action in this game.

Take my review with a pinch of salt though, I've been playing this game for a decade, and therefore I'm quite biased. :)
