the game looks gorgeous but thats pretty much where the fun ends. give it a week or so before we get some bug fixes because currently from what i'm experiencing its a broken mess.

-Enemy pop in / invisible enemies popping out through vents
-in-game event scenes being frozen
-Isaac himself has spawn invisible with just the gun he holds being my "character"
-random stutter and frame drops
-outright crashes
**the biggest offender is a game breaking bug. Ch2 there is a battery that is suppose to be moved to gain access to continue and through several reloads of previous points this thing still wont spawn, so no more progress is allowed.

this set the bar for how remakes should be done from here on out

if youre a fan of games like Rogue Legacy, you'll love this. Each class has their own set of unique skills and traits and just unlocking them all is a large enough task. The items you can collect increase with each in game achievement you complete and each item has their own unique ability.

the game supports 4 player coop, both local and online however there have been issues with this working properly. even without the multiplayer the game is still an excellent time. a high risk/reward setup, perpetually increasing difficulty and randomly generated maps make it a game youll be able to keep coming back to and never have the same run twice.
