Never before has being hunted by Karen been so scary.
10/10 would call the manager again.

I wanted to take some time before releasing a full review of this.
I will be reviewing this as a port, not the original game, however, with that said, the original game gets a 10/10.

GRAPHICS:
I am actually quite shocked that a game from 2010 looks as good as it does in this version. The resolution can be adjusted to whatever you desire, and uncapped frame rates are also a (experimental) feature. The LOD distance has been increased as well. Overall, graphically, this is the best way to play reach. 10/10

AUDIO:
Okay, so while the audio in the multiplayer sounds fine for me, something is definitely wrong in the campaign, specifically with the DMR. Sometimes there will be no sound from shooting it at all, or at other times heavily delayed. It is very off-putting, and at this point when playing Campaign I would just play it muted with subtitles. It's not all bad though, the reverb sound effects are actually very nice, and I might have reloaded my weapons to an unnecessary extent, just to hear the nice reverb across a metallic room.
Overall, the audio gets a 4/10.

CONTROLS:
The game is compatible with both Keyboard, and the classic controller. Controller wise, I give it a 10/10. It feels just like 2010 reach, but better due to 60fps. On the keyboard and mouse, I think it is also quite good. Something feels slightly off when using it, but that hasn't overly affected my precision. But there is also the terrible crouching, I give it a 7/10.

STABILITY:
I only encountered 2 bugs during my time playing. One time was during the first mission, I tried crouch jumping, and I, out of nowhere, flew 50 feet in the air, and fell to my death. The second one was much smaller and kind of funny actually. I once saw a marine trying to walk through a wall. I got that one on video.
Other then that, no issues here. I give it an 8/10

PROGRESSION:
Instead of the literally perfect credits system of halo reach, 343 decided to put in their own system, and, I think its kind of a mess. The season credits system is really unnecessary, and because of this I have a lot of armor pieces that I don't really want. I give this one a 5/10. Its a step back, but at least they don't charge for it.

CONTENT:
The game as of now comes with the Campaign, Multiplayer, and Firefight. All DLC maps from 2010 reach are available with the game, which is nice. There is no theater mode, which I don't overly care about, but they don't have forge yet. This tells me that they didn't really learn their mistake from Halo 5 over the delayed forge mode. I love custom games and forge, so it kills me a little bit on the inside to know that its not gonna be here until a later date. However, they also came out and said that they will add more things onto forge, and more than double the budget, so its not all bad here either. This gets a 5/10.

MODS:
Instant 10/10. I don't feel like I need to explain why, but I will anyways.
The game has mod support, and already, people have made some amazing, and hilarious things. I am so glad that 343 understands the importance of modding, and I am glad that they ported this to PC, while having these things in mind. You can actually access Forge through mods, which is also awesome.

CROSS-PLATFORM-MULTIPLAYER:
As of now, there is no cross platform multiplayer. While it sucks, I understand why they did this. Obviously, it would be difficult to balance. However, they could add it at any time, so I am still hopeful. 5/10 for now.

OVERALL:
8/10

Pavlov VR is an absolute must-have game, and I don't put that lightly.
The base game, even without all of the community content, is good. The shooting mechanics are fun, and intuitive. Everything works the way you would imagine them to, and the longer this game is out, the better and better it gets.
My one complaint about the regular game is that there isn't enough content. However, with the next content update coming later this summer, that will surely change.

However, where this game truly shines is with the community.
There are countless, amazing maps that are available to download on the workshop, and the amount of custom game modes and content blows my mind. We have Prop hunt, TTT, Black-ops zombies, and more.
And, it only makes me more happy to see Vankrupt actively nurturing and supporting their modding community with this newest update.

Not only do I recommend this game, but it set in stone as one of my favorite video games of all time, parallel with games like Halo, Half-life: Alyx, Minecraft etc. If you have a VR headset, a PC, and any sort of internet connection, you absolutely have to pick this game up.

Its being removed from steam, and going to that failed abortion known as the epic games store.
I am not going to be silent over this, I AM MORE THAN TICKED OFF.
I used to not even mind the epic store that much, until they started doing this.
F the epic store.

This program is useful, but a little too punishing.
I run a gtx 1050ti, which is under the recommended 3gb 1060 or RX 480, and even though I was hitting the target framerate the entire time, without any hickups, it was at the low "capable" area.
I have played quite a few VR games, and have had no performance issues at all, the 1050 TI runs VR games like a champ, even though this test says otherwise.
I think there is some software that determines this, it see's that I have a 1050ti and immidiately lowers my score, which is just plain stupid.
But if you want a worst-case scenario of how VR would run on your pc, try it out. It's free, so you aren't losing anything.

This is, believe it or not, my most used app on steam.
I still know next to nothing about the software even after over 100 hours of use.
It is good software, though. And completely free, so I would highly recommend at least trying it out if you want to get into 3D art, and soon 2D as well.
However, the learning curve SUCKS. I am still in it, and I have, again, been using it for over 100 hours.

Terrible VR implementation.
The controls suck, that is if you are stuck with a Gamepad.
The amount of control that you actually have with setting and things like that is laughable at best.
Youtube, fix your crap, or some other service will come around and stomp you like a bug.
...Not the glitch kind.

Maybe this game is an OverWatch knockoff, but there is one thing that makes this better.
It's free. The only thing you will be waisting is a little bit of time. If you have overwatch, I think you should still give it a shot. It is a lot of fun, and it is easy to run on weak hardware. It does not have a pay to win system, so people who don't want to spend any money (Like me), will enjoy this game.

Amazing game!
The game really reminds me of mobile games, and that really isn't a bad thing!
I know for sure you will put endless hours into this game, I enjoyed it, and so will you!
