Hello there, dear devs, one of the star truckers on the phone here! Got some thing to say after 5 hours of playtime, though most of them are complains, there will be a talk about upsides, I promise.

And let's start with them right away. First, theme - it is handled really well. The levels do be looking marvelous, as well as the textures with the low-poly style. I really enjoy the wiew outside the window during the rides on the road, sometimes maybe a bit too much to hear a loud horn somewhere up front.
Second would be optimization - great job on that, my Asus Vivobook Pro 15 runs the game on highest settings with no problems, though I have not encountered midgame levels yet, and might feel some freezes here and there in the future, but overall it's really good. And thanks for not taking much space with the game files too, love ya indie developers for that.
Third, comes the music - the radio addition to a car (spaseship?) game is always the right choise, and the tracks are nice too. Not all that relaxing, we don't want to sleep on the road, so the punchy beats of rock-n-roll hit you in times of need on a trip with a nice slam.
Fourth is localization. Thanks a lot for adding russian and other languages into the game. I am not considering myself to be bad with english, but it's definitely nice to see your native words being used for terms you're truying to understand and learn. Big shoutout for that.

This is all great features, even if they aren't special. Doing things right is much more than truying to stand out. But now I will have put my complains on the table. I will not be bragging, as the game does interest me a lot and I will stay with the community it forms for the brighter tomorrow, and I hope my vision of this product will be taken into account of further development to improve the game and make it more accessible and enjoyable.

First will be the difficulty, out of which my choise was normal. I am not against the game being challenging, but here I feel like some aspects just outrigt crawl behind and strangle you out from nowhere when you least expect it (sometimes literally, talking about em filters here). My first game started with me delivering the tutorial cargo to the delivery point, when I accidentally lost control for a moment and apparently hit the trunk too much. After detaching the container, I was greeted with a summing up screen, on which my salary of 500 or so bucks was owertrown with a penalty of 573. At least I didn't had to cover the expences this once, but later I also got hit by a meteior on a great speed, and from that point on, my run was basically doomed. With not enough cash, broken truck, broken cargo and energy running low, no guide book was able to save my ass - I made about 2 more trips, broke my spase truck completely and started a fresh game. Of course, this all can be called a skill issue, and I will try to give it doublethough myself after playing on easy and custom difficulties, but in my eyes this is not how a game about delivering cargo should feel on normal difficulty. I read a rewiev form a fella who played hardcore and reached lvl8, and he mentioned filters and energy being huge problems, as saving money for them on that stage seemed impossible, so he ended up softlocking himself on a same state with not enough supplies to continue playing. Please, think about the game from the perspective of all the newcomers and try to do something about balancing the skill floor for an average novadays gamer. Oldies still got hardcore and custom to play around, so this should be fair enough.
Second complain (much less detailed, I promice) is thecontrols - I do understand that this is also a skill issue type of a problem, but the feel of what we got now is just too cluncy to be enjoyable even during learning process. Movement in 3D enviroment in all the directions is a rare example in videogames of first-preson experiences, and there's a reason for that. There is a 3rd person to assist this problem, but I am personally assured that I must be able to handle all the thing from inside the cab if I want to.
Third, (here comes my personal neatpick) it seems that the world is quite empty. Yes, this is space, but inhabitet space. It would be nice to see (em, maybe there is some of thoose things on mid and late game levels, sorry if I go ahead of myself, sorry if so) some parking lots outside, more sighns, neon add banners and more transport types. Maybe space stations containing towns, which you're able to see underneath the fibre glass. More background action, like occasional starfalls, nebulas and black holes, or some big ships jumping in and out the hyperspace. This is all for the future, of course, as the game is raw enough now to think more of the next occrance.
Fourth: bugs. Not a lot of them I encountered, but the ones which were here are good enough to be concerning. Like that one time I went out for the lost cargo, only to find out half of it got stuck in the texture walls and cannot be retrieved. Or that time when I put the container on the untaken bedshelf, then opened it, and then it refused to close because the to got stuck in the ceeling. I am hoping that this will be the priority of your work for now, even if I wish for thing uptop to be worked on as well.
Fifth, and final for now, another neatpick: radio adds. They feel too real. I hate them IRL, and I sertanly do not enjoy them more in my videogames. Please, make an option to disable them.

And, this is all for now. Gotta go sleep, so will end it quick: I like the game, and the overall score for me is positive, but there is a lot to be done, and I'm counting on you guys. Best of luck, and see you around, space truckers!

Damn, that was good. As a saying goes: "Unsafe, but neat".

I am not all that familiar with the survivor type games, exept the "Vampire Survivors", which I liked, but dropped before doing a true 100%, even though the end was 2 items away or so. The game was really fun for a while, but got old real fast (in a month or even shorter). Played it on my phone and see no reason to do it on PC, but "DRG: Survivor" is a different thing in its core.

Being a bit familiar with the base game (550 hours or so), and with the VS as a genre example, I got the ropes real fast - you are on a dred mission (for now, later on there will be other types), but Deep Dive style - a couple of stages with main and secondary objective, a ton of bugs to kill and minerals to mine. From the survivor perspective, it is interesting to see your actual progression bar on the screen, not having to guess or time when the next event will happen. The weapon sahring system for different class weapons from DRG still is messy to me, but I'm sure this is a skill issue at this point; more hours to spend - more knowlege to gain.

Gameplay loop is catchy: maps are presigially generated, secondary missions have 3 types so far, and bugs do crawl and fly with intent to chew on your dwarf ass. All is simple - mine resourses, get XP and updates, kill bugs, go trough events, run to pod and repeat till it's done. The process of it all is quite satisfuying though, as the feeling of growing stronger and surviving the neverending horde of glyphids really kicks on that sense of progression. I really do wonder how other mission types will get implemented in here, but so far, the core gameplay is neat.

About the difficulty - for hazard one, is is fairly challenging on the first run alrady, but if to come back to VS, my first run gone purely as well. Here though, I was able to get to the last stage with fair eaze, exploiting the terrain and slow ahh bugs, but in the end, I was surprized with a dred 70+ damage jump attack on my dwarf on 3rd of his health. 2nd run was much more succesfull - I got new weapons, such as M1000, which is an absolute 1 target menace and dred mission nessesity, and some lucky updates for it. Thus, dred fell, and dwarf arised back to the space rig.

Classes. I was devastated to see that my favorite driller class was hard locked behind the progression bar with a requirement to play not him but other classes. I pesonally love driller, and spend 300 hours playing as one in DRG without even considering to switch to someone else (eventually did, but only after reached legendary 3 on this epic dwarf class). I do understand though, that with such power of destruction and swarm control, noone would even like to try the other 3 classes, and thus will make further updates challenging to make without enough feedback, so that's ok. Anyways, with scout, I finished first biome haz 1 mission with a second try, with gunner it was, surprisingly, on 3rd, engie did it all in 1 go, and driller got a bit unlucky the 1st time, but completely shredded that dred on haz 1 1st and 2nd biome afterwards.

Graphics - next gen. I did and do keep enjoying the DRG looks and style, and in Survivor it's all captured just as well, with a lil chibi-manga vision, but that's fair for a game that is truying to fit that much stuff on screen. All the models, maps and effects look dope and pleasing to the eye.

Sound design is peak - there are classic voise lines from the OG game, mentioning the much needed V button, but also new dialogue recorded with help of GSG dev team. Music is the same, though some tracks are used in different matter. For example, I think I heard "Welcome The Darkness" during the elite fight, when in the main game it's used for extraction moments (I might be wrong though, got myself lost in all the feeling of exitement for a new DRG game :'] ). Also, there is no calm moments, so you won't hear some tracks like "I'm Lost" or "Karl's End" during your session. I kinda wanted to hear some new tracks as well, but I guess we will have to wait for season 5 or "Rogue Core" for that - after all, that's a spinoff, even though a pretty cool one. About the sound effects you can just say that they are DRG level, as all of them are reused as well.

Overall - a good game. I personally do not know if I will spend as much time with it as I did with the original, mostly cause DRG is a community thing for me and I really enjoy the co-op features of it, but maybe this game find a place for some of us dwarves to Rock and Stone to the bone (exapmle being when your Wi-Fi is down). But FR, great experience right now, and I hope will get even better in the future.

OK, hear me out: the DRG company is real.

It exists in our universe, exsacly as pictured in the game. It has the same policy, goals, tools and work force. And it does the same thing, on a planet filled with dangerous creatures. It is all the same, but we just don't see it cause its far away.

The DRG headquarters located at some distant, alternative Earth-like planet filled with different humanoid species, including dwarfs and at least some so-called long-eared leaflovers. It is a huge company, as already described, holding monopoly for mineral harvesting on many planets. And it is clearly obvious that they do not care about anything that happens to their mine workers at the territory of their property.

And there are thoose miners. Dwarfs - short, agile and powerful working machines, who gave their souls to Rock and Stone u till it's done. They go deep, deeper than anyone else would dare, to do the things no one does better: dig holes, mine minerals and shoot bugs. And they come back, with glorious success, to go ahead and get drunk. And sometimes, some of them don't.

So, next time you'll look up and see the sky, remember this: there is a place, somewhere far away from us, where darkness and danger lies. And there's dwarfs here, who risk their lives to do the job that needs to be done. And their do it heckin well. When you'll be thinking about that, wish them luck on their daily journey trough deep wild caves, and wish for them to get back on the station safe, in one piece.

Ok, so played for a bit and stopped to write down a review, that will hopefully gonna be read by a developer team. The game is quite all right in a term of a raw product, so I hope that it will be upgraded in the near future, and about that: here's a little list of what I as someone who actually want to play and enjoy it, would love to see added first:

1. Advanced settings system
My PC, laptop actually, is not that new, but it can run some of the never indy games pretty smoothly if you get the settings right, and that is not the case with Q4P. I can't remove the blurr even, and that is the function you should have, as some people do not enjoy it, as it confuses their vision, ya know. The game wisually looks alright in general, and I especially enjoy the artstyle in whitch the first cutscene was drawn and that appears in the dialogues.

2. Simpler level construction
I see that you really tried your best on making the levels look lively with a lot og decorations and details, but in the game where you need to quickly dodge bullets and run around without thinkin where you going much, it is not nice to find yourself stuck behind some piles of trash that have no way around them but to go back from where you came from, where the enemy is already waiting for you. If to cound in the rate at which you move and how far you can go with a dodge move, there wasn't enough space so far in thoose coridor like levels.

3. Enemy fighting styles
Haven't went far yet, but it seems now that enemies players have to face act quite simple and a bit too effective at the same time, keeping you busy from the start, running and rolling like crazy till getting stuck in a corner behind the bench and being slammed by some frige carrying fella. So, maybe it is ok to slow the temp a bit by taking their speed and fire rate down just a little at least for starting levels. Some enemies are actually confused me a bit, like blow-up rats, who dont seem to be giving you any type of timing idea of when they gona kamikaze-style kill you, like beep or smth, or maybe it's me who haven't noticed, but still, and thoose junk bots who fire rockets up and dont have to be in your line of sight, but still are truying to het closer, and actually can just be made static or try to hide underground from you and stuf. Hope to see you work on that, and get the jevel polished.

4. Weapon power
So, the guns that I've expiriensed so far were a pistol, which is the starting gun, shotgun and a machine gun, from which only the last one seemed the most reliable and usable. Pistol's projectiles are pretty small and even when they hit stuff, they just go trough and for me it even seemed that I wasn't hitting the target, untill it actually got down. Shotgun is kinda the same deal, with a gigantic spread and not much use when all the enemies get in a single line usually. So, the machinegun with it instant hit ability and a huge round is the only choise so far, and even that seems to be really silly to unload a whole magazine in one junkbot and see him still run your way. Would really like to feel like im doing damage, not shootin NERF guns.

6/10 4 now, looking forward to it and wish you luck
