One of the greatest western stories of all time

It's 12:48 AM on the night prior to release of this game out of early access and I STILL cannot find anything to play that even remotely interests me. I need this game.


It's now 2 days after release and I have yet to convince myself to put the game down. GOTY easily.

I personally really enjoyed the game, made me really feel like the commander of the Grey Wardens but the fact that all this content is coming out as separate payed DLCS is kind of frustrating especially because it's only little things like playable classes/missions that feel like they should already be implemented in the game, or at least added as patches and not paid-only

Personally as someone who's played the beta and sill plays now, I really enjoy the game. I think the concept is awesome, and the game-play is really fun. That being said the execution has been really poorly done. I feel this game needs a dedicated community AND development team to recover from its rocky start, you can't change what has already been done but there is room to move forward to work on content and development, such things as the Chaos Spawns and the Addition of more Penances are nice but the cosmetic shop behind an in game currency with a pay wall, is such an overdone concept in video games, I'd much rather see it scrapped for a much more interesting concept sorta like the "Scrip & Cosmetic Tree" done in Deep Rock Galactic, for example players have to work for points to earn dockets to unlock cool cosmetics and good weapon skins, not only would this feel more rewarding but it makes sense in a Warhammer 40k game, replace the "points" with pve kills add bonuses for Elite monsters and Bosses, put it behind a reasonable pay wall and call it a "Battle pass"

Can safely say it's the game I wanted AND needed

I have crawled limbless across desert wastes, starved and stolen to make ends meet, I have slaughtered countless innocents in pursuit of strength and finesse, I've watched my closest companions get dragged into endless mists, with only their blood curdling screams left for me remember them by. I have seen skeletons rise from the sands to rip the flesh off the living, and wear it like some grotesque macabre fashion statement, I have fought abominations thought only conceivable by the broken minds of mad men, and I would gladly do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Got story about siblings being taken hostage.

About 12 hours of raiding fighting and sieging later.

I have 3 kids 2 castles 4 settlements.

i'm making 5000 gold a day

and not ONCE have i stopped to think "huh i should probably go save my family now"
