The game has been out for a while, but for a single dev there is a lot here. Sure, it's still rough around the edges, but for what there is (specially the new survival mode) and what might be here in the future, it's a great game in a great spot.
Be sure to come here expecting a lot of early mining and building, unless you just go to creative and build.

Yes, this game is great, even with the downgrades they were forced to do thanks to The-N-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.
I hope PocketPair gets the apology they deserve and the game improves tenfold in the future.

Nearly two hours in, and lemme tell you, this is good.

Cons:
*You better get a gaming mouse, or one with extra buttons.
*Bad gamepad support as of now, but I kinda get why. (one of the main mechanics of the game require constant aiming)
*Controversy about a similar game in the past that didn't meet expectations or honored its promises
*It's still pretty buggy

Pros:
*Stylized graphics, won't age easily
*An unique mix of movement mechanics
*Runs on Linux via proton perfectly
*Co-op via Steam

Seriously now, I absolutely avoid using kb+m if I can get away with it and am not fond of shooter style games, but this game is REALLY good for the first two hours (and I was lost a good chunk of the time, making heads or tails of how to actually play)
The "game that didn't keep promises" isn't this, and I never had access to that. I just like this one.

The game looks and the gameplay is great... WHEN IT WORKS.

Something in the demo caused the game to crash randomly during a hunt, making sure there was nothing else open, and my hardware is near the RECOMMENDED specs. I got the game, launch day it simply worked, no crashes.

Today it crashed again. No reason, no hint as to why. Yes, I'm on linux, but there's no overheating, no memory maxing out, just freezes everything and logs out of my session, closing all programs.

PLEASE FIX THIS, CAPCOM. THE GAME IS GOOD, BUT IT RUNS LIKE MOLASSES.

Conheço esse jogo desde a época do Windows 95/98 mais ou menos, e só tinha uma demonstração. Gráficos incríveis que envelheceram como vinho, uma jogabilidade simples mas desafiadora. Acabei pegando mais jogos da série pela qualidade desse jogo apenas, que devia ser dos primeiros do estúdio.

This is better than whatever the HORI version is trying to be. At least THAT is gonna be available worldwide. Wish Valve sold their hardware everywhere properly...

O jogo e MARAVILHOSO! O visual e otimo, a musica e otima, o combate e muito dinamico pra um de turno (alem de posicionamento ser importante), e a historia e bem inovadora. Tem o proprio worldbuilding, sistema de magia e tudo mais. Um jogo feito com muito carinho, super recomendo.

O unico problema e que ele parece ser curto. Claro, eu nao estou fazendo um monte de coisa de proposito e so seguindo a historia, mas ainda assim, ele parece que vai terminar com no maximo umas 40 horas. Isso e pouco pra um RPG se voce so seguir a historia. Mas fora isso, e especialmente se voce for atras do conteudo extra, vale muito a pena.

CrossCode é tão bom que eu "ganhei" ele na itch, e comprei ele novamente na steam com a DLC só por estar mais barata. A história é maravilhosa, os gráficos são lindos pra um jogo 2D (e nem precisa do tratamento HD2D, mas a sequência vai receber esse tratamento), a música é ótima, o combate é deliciosamente rápido e desafiador na medida certa - sem esquecer da estratégia pra você não passar de tudo com o botão de ataque no turbo. O cast de personagens é inclusivo, e a DLC expande isso ainda mais.

Se eu tenho que botar algum defeito em CrossCode, é o de não ter uma localização pt-br, coisa que foi feita por fãs já (e não é completa nem perfeita, mas tem adaptações ótimas também, créditos ao grupo) mas literalmente não me incomoda nem um pouco.

Jogo leve, barato, bonito, recheado de conteúdo, não tem motivos pra não jogar CrossCode (fora alguém ter dificuldades com inputs rápidos, as técnicas mais avançadas requerem isso)

A DLC 3 transforma o jogo que era divertido numa versao Dark Souls. Os combates estao impossiveis, e os desafios entao nem se fala. Nao importa como o jogo esteja configurado, esta tudo numa dificuldade extrema que tira a graça de seguir em frente.

O jogo base continua muito bom, a OST continua maravilhosa, mas nao consigo recomendar a ultima DLC pra qualquer jogador casual.
