Schil de aardappelen en snij ze met de hand in gelijkvormige frieten. Ze hoeven niet dun te zijn: een ideale Belgische friet is 13 millimeter breed.
TIPWas de frieten niet, want dan spoel je het zetmeel eraf.

Verhit het frietvet tot 140 °C.

Bak de frieten een eerste keer, maar laat ze nog niet kleuren. Zo pocheer je de aardappelstukjes. Laat de frieten uitlekken en goed afkoelen in een schaal met een vel keukenpapier. Verhit het frietvet vervolgens tot 180 °C.

Bak de koude frieten nu goudbruin en knapperig.

Giet de frieten opnieuw in een schaal met keukenpapier, zodat ze kunnen uitlekken. Strooi er naar smaak wat zout over.

First, I do consider you a friend, and if I did not, you would not have received beautiful gifts from me and I would not have trusted you and told you my secret about who I am.

I removed you, because I realized that you do not consider me a friend, because if you did, your friends would not have kicked me out of your party after you invited me on November 3! I made up time for you since you invited me; I was supposed to go somewhere important, but I stayed and accepted your invite out of respect to you and your friends.

Moreover, after your friends kicked me, you did not try to make up for it. Sometimes, just simple words are enough for that or anything other than words. Just trying to fix and make things right is more than enough to show that you do care.

I might be wrong, but I believe you didn’t say: (he’s my friend) to your friends when you invited me, and I believe they asked you about me, but you didn’t tell them since they asked me some personal questions about who I am and where I am from.
